Savor the moment as couple

Alex went to the room to take a bath also because he looks untidy and disheveled not feeling fresh anymore. As soon as she got out of the bathroom dress herself then dry her hair and put some lotion and perfume all over her body not knowing Alex was on the other toilet freshen himself too. She went outside looking for him but she heard the phone ringing, she rushed over to the room and look for it open the bag then gets the phone it was Alex's phone that rings and she answer it suddenly;

"Hello? Liz prompted.

"Hi, can I speak to Alex?" The lady named Mary Jane on the other line.

"Who's on the line please?"Liz asked.

"This is Mary Jane his ex.,"she concluded.

"Excuse me?"Liz replied annoyingly.

"You heard me right? His ex and you are?"She exclaimed.

"A friend. Do you have any business with him?"Liz utter scornfully.

"I just wanted to talk to him that's all. Would you mind giving him the phone now?

"He's not around; I'll let him know that you called up. Okay?

"Pls.do. Thank you.

Timing when Alex just got out of the toilet walking to her direction while looking at the phone she's holding.

"Your ex just called up. You may want to call,"she handed her his phone and about to leave the room but Alex hold her hand.

"Who were you saying my ex? I don't get you? What's her name again?

"Mary Jane, that's what she said.

"I don't know her.

"Call her for you to know who the freak she is. Or you want me to call her instead?

"Liz, I don't know what you're talking about? What is it that she wants?

"How the hell should I know, why don't you call her instead? She's adamant to talk to you?

"What did you tell her?

"Don't worry, she doesn't know about us. I told her that you're my friend that's all. Call her now before you regret anything maybe it's important.

"I don't have an ex by the name of Mary Jane. All I know now is I love my wife more than anything else. You should have told her that you're my wife."Alex raised his voice suddenly.

"Do as you please, I really don't care!"

"Look, you should believe me not that one Liz, no idea who the hell that is; maybe she just wanted to trip on me whoever it is. Okay I'll call her later if I wanted to but right now all I want is you.

"Get your hands off of me Alex, not in the mood." She left the room feeling upset yet try to calm not to get affected by that woman.

Alex followed her outside the room. He wouldn't let this thing taken out of context and let it stay longer but should be brought out easily and talk it over as much as possible.

"Can we talk it over now? I don't want to end the day that we do not talk and understand each other.

"There was nothing to talk about? It's done? I told you earlier, everything you should hear.

"It does not have to be that way. Why don't you confront me? Whatever resentment you have on me you just have to let it out for me to know not like that you are silent, but sulking inside.

"You just think that way. I don't know, it's up to you! I want to be alone.

Out of a sudden his phone rings."Hello? Who's this? He put the speaker on for her to hear everything.
