Resentment

"Twas a beautiful morning as the sun rises. They feel the morning breeze. Got out of bed then have their coffee, read the news and get ready for a new day. Bunch of work to do today especially Alex. He left the house early to go to work. Not that excited but his duty calls and should not be taken for granted. Same thing happened on that day, helping those in need one family was happy for that blessing once again. The entire team was busy packing and ready to go back to the studio but he went home to see Elizabeth in her house. On his way to her place, he bought some flowers for her and headed to her house. He was buzzing and the guard opens the gate for him and he entered the house. There's a car parked on the garage, who is her visitor? "He asked. The helper let him inside the house where the visitor was there talking to her as if no one's around. They were busy chatting with each other even laughing and meddling. He butts in to their conversation with mocking eyes.

"Am I interrupting something in here? Flowers for you. I thought you're alone but then you're happy with someone, aren't you? Not a good timing I guess. I should have informed you earlier but I forgot.

"Just arrived? You didn't text me; I didn't know you were coming? By the way, meet Ralph.

"Hi, friend of her? He introduces himself.

"Hi there, nice to meet you Alex. Yeah, a good friend of her. I'll pay a visit to an old friend. Would you mind?

"No it's okay. Nice to meet you too. So, I leave you two maybe you have a lot to catch up. I'm leaving now Liz, some other time perhaps. See you around brod. Take good care of her (referring to her).

"Of course, I will, don't worry buddy she'll be okay with me. See you around when I see you. You take care. Bye.

Elizabeth was speechless, couldn't move nor speak. She was really surprised to see Alex here while having conversation with Ralph as if they had known each other yet managed to deal with it. Something casual the way he responded to him. He left her house and goes home. On the way to his house his phone rings and it's Macey on the line.

"Hello, how are you? Why bother to call? Miss me? Laughing.

"I just want to invite you for a dinner tonight if you're available? Would you mind?

"No, it's ok with me. What time you want me to pick you up?

"7:00 o'clock would be fine. I'll wait for you. Need someone to talk. I'm glad that you're free tonight. Thank you so much. See you then. Bye!

"No problem. Same here. Okay see you around. Bye!

While driving headed for home he dropby & buy something for Amanda a present and went directly to his house to give it to her but she's nowhere to be found. He check on her all over the house yet he couldn't find her there maybe she's in her friends house. He left a note to her mother telling her that he will be late tonight and don't stay up late in the evening just to wait for him. Before leaving the house he took a shower first and choose the best dress to wear tonight just for Macey only. This will be the first time he would have dated her but for now he only thinks of tonight's date without thinking of Elizabeth feelings if she finds out about this date. He's so excited and don't know why. Ready to leave the house and calls Macey that he's on his way to her house now so she might get ready. Finally he reached her house and took her to the restaurant where she was booked for dinner. They went inside and the usherette led the way to their table. They sat and order. His eyes were rolling not even considering the one that makes him upset was also here inside the resto. Elizabeth and Ralph seated across their table. What is this a coincidence? It can't be? Of all places why in here? He didn't mind as if he never sees them.
