Confrontation

They woke up early and get ready to leave the house. He took her directly to her house and went directly to the show. She didn't expect a visitor on that day. Her housemaid told her that someone was waiting for her the other day and be back today yet he's here ahead of her. She came over to him but to her surprise it's a visit from her old friend who happens to be her ex. He walked over to her smiling while reaching out to hug her. Alex pull over and drives back to Elizabeth house instead called them that he's not feeling well that day and they let him rest for a day.

"Hi Liz, how are you? It's been a long time since I saw you. You've changed a lot. I didn't recognize you at all.

"Ah.. Hi Brent. How did you find me? She feels a little awkward to see him again.

"I got your address from Andy.

"Oh! Okay. So, what's up? What brought you here?

"I just came to invite you for a dinner tonight if you don't mind. I'll take no for an answer. We had a lot to catch up.

"But," Brent never let her speak instead he put his right finger into her mouth to stop talking. He could almost touch her lips too not knowing that Alex was standing in front of them while seeing them together in that awkward situation. If only looks could kill they died right away.

"Liz, what is this?

"Alex, you're back? Is there something wrong? She was surprised by his visit.

"No just wanna tell you that -uh nothing. I thought you're alone but you have company at this early my apologies to interrupt you both with your unfinished business together." He is hurting inside yet managed not to show it and try to calm himself instead.

"Oh, hi there! Sorry I didn't know you're expecting another visitor Liz.

"Alex, this is Brent. An old friend of mine. It's not what you think when you saw us. It's just that.....After introducing the two men.

"Of course, the famous Alex Madison. Glad to meet you buddy. By the way Liz former boyfriend her old flame.

"Nice to hear that," while looking at Elizabeth. "So you're here to get her back again? Well I can see that you two misses each other so much. I think I better go now. Enjoy buddy. Take good care of her.

Elizabeth was tongue tied, she couldn't move nor speak. She is just looking at him the entire time." This is outrageous,"she said to herself.

"Yeah, I will of course.

"I need to talk to you Alex.

"No just stay with him. I'll go. It's nice seeing you Brent. Bye.

Elizabeth followed him to the door. She grabbed his hand. "Alex please, will you stop this? What is this? What is wrong with you?

"A little shame on your visitor, oh your former lover I suppose to say. Carefully attend to your guest. You go there maybe he gets bored waiting for you and will leave suddenly.

"That's enough. I really didn't expect him here and I was surprised too why he visited me after all these years. What I know from a friend that he went abroad that's all nothing else. Andy gave him my address that's why.

"No need it's not his fault. He too knows nothing about us as well. I really have to go Liz. You two have a lot to catch up too.

"I can't let you get away with this one, not this time. I will tell him that we are married.

"No, he wouldn't like it. Better go out with him. I'm tired. I'm going home.

"You really want this? Okay, your wish is my command,"she's pissed off then left him and go back to Brent.
