Part XVII

Dinner with her friends

He woke up early and get ready to go to work but Elizabeth is still sleeping, he didn't bother to wake her up but left a message beside her bed so that she can see it if she wakes up then slowly left the room without a noise and drive all the way to the place where they are set for the show today.

On the show their guests were Haley & Candice promoting something and Alex invited them to have dinner with him & Elizabeth later tonight after the show. He called up Elizabeth just to tell her that they will have dinner tonight at the restaurant he booked a while ago but never told her about her friends. He went home and change clothes then get ready for the dinner later. They all set & excited to go to the restaurant where her friends were already there waiting for them to arrive. Speaking, the two enters the restaurant then go straight to the table where her friends were seated not knowing they just arrived.

"Hello ladies!

"Whoa, you were the one who are facing back I thought someone else.

Candice & Haley together,"And so.....

"Who would have thought Alex brought you here; I thought we can have him alone." Candice prompted.

" Of course our friend here might think Alex would meet up with another girl, you know certainly it's a clash." Haley teases her.

"Still, you two should be thankful that I did not ask Alex because I would not allow him to leave ofcourse." Liz just smiling.

"Did you order? Because if not we are going home. I just met you & I think that's alright?"Lex jested.

"Oh, ha-ha! Now you may think that you can dare."Liz added.

"Just kidding. You just order Liz to take care of that. I get back in the car. I will return."Lex said.

"You go back because if not, you'll never see Liz,"Candice warned him.

"Okay for me to find others and the favor is mine."Then he winked at them.

"Really? Go ahead. I could have you exchange, you imagine," Liz stated.

"That if someone like you, in money yes, but rather vague,"Lex replied.

" Is it acting or serious? So that's how you make tender with each other you might seem enviable I want to continue to look someone like you Alex,"candice said.

"Best actress, Bravo! Infairness you both fit for each other. So much fun if you two end up together nothing sad in your home because just always happy." Haley added.

"Don't worry I can not find another like you. You know," Lex replied.

"So am I! You take what you want back there. Hurry up," Liz replied.

"So sweet. He's coming back because Liz has his wallet so he can't pay the parking by then." Haley stated.

"Really? The car key is with him. Neither worthless," Liz said.

" We caught there. I order. "Candice called the waiter then order food.

"Add more,"haley laughing.

Alex just returned and bumped in to their table.

"What, did you order? I'm hungry,"Alex just asked.

"Yeah, done you might be surprised that many said Liz," Candice said while laughing.

"That's okay Liz will pay. If they agree here that I pay my body. "Lex said jokingly.

" Will there be interested?"Haley replied.

"I'm sure, still there?"Alex funny jokes them.

"My goodness that's just hungry what took so long of our order? Why do you decided to invite these two Alex? Asked Liz.

"These two just kept nagging me until I said yes on the show earlier; it might be embarrassing to say I'm not nice."Explained Alex here.

"That's right. You two really fit for each as you both were stingy,"Candice added.

"So exaggerated maybe you two. Spent your money wisely as if we just so you also, "said Liz here.

"Liz was just that I was not depending on if it's important easily I speak therein. Thanks and the food came also, "said Alex.

They ate while chatting, exchanging jokes with each other then laughing.

"When will be the wedding? Is there a chance Alex? "Candice asked.

"Liz certainly gets bored Alex? She confides with us about it. Where this relationship of yours going? Do not fool our friend?" Haley's complaint.

"What's this?? Is this serious? I thought we just eat here and why's that? Why not ask Liz if she wanted to?"Says Alex laughing.

"Uhm. Will you not stop there? Eat more that's free do not too inquisitive okay. Shame on you!" Liz teases them.

"See that. Just hungry. It will pass too. We come to that at the right time who knows we have already done that without knowing everything," Lex explained.

Candice & Haley together,"True? Wow!

"That's good news. So this is the reception?" Likewise Candice asked.

"We don't allow! Why is that, you did not even inform so that I can wear gown."Suddenly Haley interferes.

" Your godchild will walk as ring bearer as well as the mother, right."Candice also added.

"You know what you should stop your illusion out there as if you have not eaten well. There you will eat pretentiously like what he said it too will pass, "said Liz.

Both were laughing while Alex order some wine to add up a little for the nights clearance. He didn't expect this warm welcome from Liz friends though they are not that close yet they really assert themselves with him and that's a good sign for him meaning they were liking him and be able to get close to them is far from his mind but seriously, it's happening now. He can't tell them that they are already married yet wanting them to discover & figure out on their own analysis maybe in due time but right now what's important is they acknowledged him. It sure looked that way.

Everybody got a toast & says Cheers! Then they drink till the last drop of wine on their glass yet kept on talking and laughing at the same time. Everybody was fed up and then Alex started talking;

"Thank you ladies. Will go ahead because I have work tomorrow good that you both could relax? Thank you for the time and for sure you enjoy very much because you see that you can not stand satiety,"Alex just laughing so hard.

"Till next time again alex?"Haley does suggest.

" Of course there must repeat of this, just a start right Alex?" Candice added.

"Alright when I have time but maybe Liz don't want, "says Alex smiling.

"Don't act there's no camera so you stop there." Sneered at her as Candice says.

" Would agree because Alex will have to pay not her," said Haley here with Liz.

"It's up to him. Its okay with me, but shame on you, once is enough what might Alex think that I tolerate it nothing like that. But thank you because you just seem satisfied as in, "Liz smirk upon telling them.

" Maybe later you return home blaming anyone else you spend, "says Candice smiling.

" There's a chance but would likely another they fight later. "Haley laughs then winked on both of them.

"You're still requesting just before you go, you two are crazy! Let's go Alex traffic may reach us. Bye girls. Keep in touch anytime," Funny Liz says while saying goodbye to them.

Then they kissed & hugged each other before leaving the place while moving to the carpark.

Haley & Candice,"Alex dont get Liz tuckered out later might run out of energy can not get up. LOL!

"I refuse yet calling for more, of course I'm a good boy so I give in she might get huff inside of me. You know what will happen next.

"Hey cut it off you two. Okay bye......Take care guys!

Haley & Candice,"You two take care. Bye. Thanks!
