First match: Noivern, Altaria, Natu, Sigilyph, Spearow and Vespiquen.
Rematch: Fearow, Altaria, Xatu, Yanmega, Noivern and Gyarados.
Battle theme: Take Flight by Lindsey Stirling
Badge: Cloud badge.
Gym design: The gym is a giant tower. Challengers must make their way to the top of the tower via cloud lifts, battling trainers at various stations along the way. The gym leader waits on a platform at the very top.
Battle quotes:
Before battle: "So, you made it through the tower? Impressive! I admire your spirit, kid. Only the strongest trainers make it up here." *pause* "I can feel it. The breeze is telling me that our battle will be tense... So! Let's see how you match up against my Flying type Pokémon! HAIYAAAA!"
First non-KO damaging hit: "Ha! You chose THAT move?"
Last Pokémon: "My last one... (Pokemon), do your best!"
Critical health: "I won't let you win! (Pokemon) and I can turn this around!"
If challenger loses: "Ha! Another win for me! Come back when you've trained a little, Hm?"
If defeated: "Ugh... That was an intense battle! Your Pokémon are really strong!"
After defeat: "Nngh... You're really something, kid. Here, take this Cloud Badge as a token of your victory!" (Player received the Cloud Badge!)
"The Cloud Badge allows all Pokémon, even traded ones, to obey you without fail. Oh, and take this TM too!"
"TM40 contains Aerial Ace! This move is super fast and never misses. It also can hit non-adjacent Pokémon in Triple Battles."
"I look forward to a day when we can battle again! Next time, I won't lose!"
Before rematch: "Back again, eh? I knew we'd battle again. Now let's get to it!"
