Chapter 3

I awake in red velvet covers placed in a stone bed with a familiar scent on it. A scent of lilac. I am in Erik's home underneath the Opera Populaire. I get up and walk over to him. He is sitting at his organ, completely still. He is so lost in thought that he doesn't hear me come in.
"Erik? Are you alright?" I ask him. He jumps and turns around.
"Am I alright? The question, my dear, is are you alright? You fell on hard stone!" He rushes over to me and feels my foreheas.
"Do you feel dizzy? Any headaches? Nausea? Do you feel lightheaded? Are you hungry? Here, drink some water!" He hands me a glass of water with a worried expression on his face. He looks so cute when he's worried. His creased eyebrow, his lips pouting ever so slightly, and the sincerity in his eyes. It just makes me want to show him I care. So I do...
Beautiful creature of darkness, fear not, for I am not ill,
though I feel something inside me, which cannot be killed..
I then pull his face to mine and we share a passionate kiss. I feel my entire body tingle. I jump up and wrap my legs around his waist and it starts to get a little more heated. He stumbles his way to the bed and lays me down into it. I pull away but keep my face close. I stare him straight in the eye, those beautiful, sparkly, golden eyes. Our breathing starts to slow down so I kiss him again and start to pull off his coat. He then pulls away and looks at me with a sad look on his face.
"Christine, we cannot"
"Why not, angel? We are in love."
"It is highly improper, as much as I want to now, we must wait."
"Until?" I ask him, wanting him to say the "M" word.
"Until...Marriage" He blushes fiercely as he says this. I giggle and kiss his nose.
"Alright." I state, willing to comply.
We both get up off the bed and go to the kitchen to make some food. I then hear someone swooshing through the water...
Christine, Christine...
I see Raoul at the gate soaked in water.
Let me see her, you monster!
"Raoul!" I yell, angry at him for his hurtful insult.
Erik's eyes are stone cold when Raoul calls him a monster, but I can tell he is upset by it. He adjusts his mask. He always does that when something upsets him. He stays still for a moment, but I look at him and nod my head yes. Erik nods his head back and the gate opens, dripping water and algae. Raoul comes running in and grabs my arm.
"Christine we must go!'

I'll order my fine horses, wait for me at the door,
and soon you'll be beside me, you will not have denied me

"No!" I yell at him.
He just stares at me, taken aback and bewildered.

Christine, I love you

(a/n this next part is to the tune of twisted every way)

You say that your'e in love, although I must refuse, your'e in love with the girl, who used to be your muse, I'm not the gawkish girl that once I was Raoul please, let me be happy now, i'm begging on my knees, I do not love you now, in fact I never did, I only was a child, Oh Raoul, please do forgive, me I love Erik now, I'll always wonder how you fail to believe me...

Christine, Christine, don't think I won't forgive, but I need you, and always will while I still live.

He squeezes my arm tighter and pulls me onto the boat and starts rowing away. I yell Erik's name and he comes running after us however Raoul is still holding onto me and Erik cannot keep up with the boat. I yell out Erik's name all the way back to the front door of the Opera Populaire and Raoul puts me in the carriage and locks the door. He gets in with me and I immediately start hitting his chest and yelling vile things at him. He grabs my hands and I collapse into his arms.
"Raoul, please" I stutter through my sobs.
"Please, I love him, I love Erik with all my heart."
"Christine, I know you don't love him. He is a monster. He just brainwashed you to believe otherwise."

He kills without a thought, he murders all thats good, I cannot let you go, although I wish I could, I just want to protect you, I don't want to let you put yourself in harm's way...

I just lay there sobbing in Raoul's arms, while thinking about my angel.

Also, I saw Phantom on broadway on Friday and it was AMAZING I LOVED IT SO MUCH I LITERALLY CRIED AND I GOT THAT MUSIC BOX WITH ERIK AND CHRISTINE ON TOP THAT PLAYS MOTN AND I GOT THE MASK SPARKLY NECKLACE AND THEN I MET A SUPER AWESOME GIRL ON ONE OF THE TOURS I WENT ON AND HER AND HER SISTER LOVE PHANTOM TOO OMG NYC IS JUST AMAZING but anyways now that i'm done phangirling don't forget to vote and comment thank you hope you all had a great holiday weekend!
