Liz's POV

Well, Greta's were some shocking news. To be honest, I didn't expect them to go out together but if I come to think about it, she and Howard are meant to be. Just like Jason and Paula - he said they're buying a new house since they are planning to get married soon. They are a lovely couple, meant to be together - just like Mark and Angie.

"God, what the hell can I do to make them be together again?"

Greta's POV

They all took the news pretty well... as if they were kinda expecting some shocking news. But Liz... she almost spits her drink... I wonder why though since she is dating Gary and they are doing great together. Unless she fancies Howard? Nah, she can't possibly want another Howard in her life when she has Gaz... They are meant to be together. Just like Mark and Angie.

"How can we make him remember Angie before it's too late?"

Liz's POV

"Cheers to you too then!" Doug raised his glass and we all did the same.

"Thanks mate..." Jay smiled and gave Paula a kiss on her lips.

"Actually I also want to say something..." Gaz called everybody's attention and I turned to look at him with a smile on my face.

"What?" I asked him and he smacked my lips before he would stand up. "Oh my god Gary please sit down!" I begged him as I felt my face turning red.

"Excuse me..." he said loudly "Hello! Good evening... sorry to interrupt your lovely dinner. Hi..."

"Geez..." I hid my face in my hands - why did he have to do that for heaven's sake?

"Well, I just want you to be witnesses of this..." I heard him saying "Liz... luv, look at me..."

I had a deep intake of breath and looked at him. "Yes..." I said completely embarrassed - since when did he like calling people's attention? Right, since he was a pop star...

"This may sound weird luv," he started off and held my hand as he spoke and got on one knee in front of me.

"Oh my god..." I said softly. I couldn't believe he was---

"I want you so much luv, and--- I love you. And despite this may sound as a line... I want to spend the rest of my life with you beside me."

"Gaz..." I caressed his face as I felt my heart was going to burst out of my chest.

"I know we've just met but somehow I feel that we were destined to meet, despite the situation which brought us together. And although our lives may change like the seasons, I will love you. And as our love grows---" he said and his voice cut off. I was lost in his dazzling blue eyes, still not being able to believe what he was going to do.

"As our love grows like a seed to a beautiful flower, I will love you. When the winds of doubt blow through, I will love you. We will stand together, strong, nurtured by each other's love until the end..."

When he stopped speaking, I saw Mark's hand across my shoulder, passing something onto Gary. I turned round and Mark shrugged, beaming a smile at me immediately afterwards.

"Liz..." Gaz's voice made me turn round and there I saw him, holding a shiny ring between his fingers. "Will you marry me?"

"Yes..." I instantly replied, without hesitating. "Yes, I will marry you Gaz..."

"Yayyy!" Mark cheered. "Kiss her mate!"

Gaz slid the ring on my finger and after that, he gave me a sweet kiss on my lips as everyone in the restaurant clapped before going back to their meals and our friends congratulated us.
