Yuri sighed, making her way back to the hut. After what Ik-Soo asked, she's been down. Life is a personal challenge. Something you can never accomplish. Yoon tapped her shoulder. "Hey, Princess."
Yuri blinked, "Huh?"
Yoon burst out laughing, "You're sister is weird. She just asked to cut her hair using an ax!"
'Ax?' Yuri wondered in her thoughts. Her face obviously showed it because Yoon rolled his eyes and said, "Ax, something you cut trees with?"
Yuri nodded. Rena entered her thoughts. 'Hey Yuri. You going to ask him?'
'No... If I talk, I'll break down.' Yuri replied, gripping her dress. She looked at Yoon, unhappy with this life she forced onto him.
He looked at her hair. It was worse than her sister's had been. It was lopsided and funny looking. Yoon sighed, dragging her into the hut. Yuri blinked in confusion as Yoon started cutting her hair. Yuri felt tears line up her eyes. Blinking them away she thought, 'Thank you, for all of this...'
When she felt Yoon pat her head, she looked up in awe. 'Yoon is really talented... isn't he? Father?'
Yoon went red as Yuri flashed her closed eye smile. Yuri stood up, walking over to her bag. She pulled out something hidden under the blankets. A small note. 'Don't lose hope. ~Wind tribe family' Yuri carefully tucked it into her dress. She pulled all the contents out. Bandages, a blanket, and a water canteen. She sighed, walking away with the canteen to fill it up. Her eyes pierced the ground, not daring to look up.
Yuri placed everything back into her bag. She looked up. Grabbing her bag, she hurried out of the hut as Yona and Ik-Soo entered. Not listening to their conversation, she hummed to herself. Then she heard something wham into rock. Yuri glanced at the building. Her eyes stared into the strawberry blonde, pinning the priest by his clothes against the wall, one foot up, the other on the floor. Yuri looked sadly at his face. It was pure anger, annoyance, yet Yuri saw sadness and hurt. Betrayal. Yuri blinked as Yoon hurried off. Ik-Soo followed after him, slower. His face was difficult to read. It was sadness yet... hopeful. Yuri spotted her sister chasing after the two. Yuri grabbed her sister's sleeve.
Yona smiled, "Come on."
Yuri nodded, walking with her sister.
Hiding behind a tree, they listened. "-That's why, in the end, I'll go." Yoon stood up, spreading his arms out wide, "I'm sure that's God's will for someone like me." he put his hands on his hips, closing his eyes in a sort of poutish way, "And besides, you seem perfectly fine with me leaving."
"Words..." Ik-Soo said quietly, making Yuri, Yona, and Yoon all look at him, "There can be power in them. Sometimes... they become words of power. So if you say it is fine, that may become the truth and it will become the truth." Ik-Soo began to cry. "But... no... that won't work... Lonely, lonely, I'll..."
Yoon's eyes widened. "...How annoying." he said, rubbing his own fresh tears. "It's not like we're saying good-bye for good."
Yuri and Yona exchanged smiles.
They left the next morning. A warm farewell. It was much better than what happened next.
Yuri bit her lip, feeling her body get pressed into Yona's. The bag shifted as Hak pat it, smacking Yona around her legs. Yona and Yuri both went red as someone -Hak- roamed his hands from their legs up to their heads. Yuri pressed her head against her sister, muffling the sounds. Gosh, this was embarrassing!
