I found myself the next morning in Chloe's bed curled up beside her loud snoring but it was something I was accustomed to.

I slipped off her bed and stretched, heading downstairs, her parents had left already leaving breakfast on the counter for us under some warmers.

I nibbled on the bacon and sipped some juice just as her plush cat Ditsy came and rubbed against my leg.

I felt my phone buzz in my hand and I checked it..... 4 unread messages, one from Cassidy, two from Adam and one from, Alex.

I want to tell Mitch this afternoon but I need u to be there.... Please.

I sighed and made a mental note to get back to her later.

Hey, bunny.... U okay?

Who is Alex?

My heart sped up, how did he know about Alex? Who told him?

U can't keep running away, I'm sorry for what I did, come home ur parents are worried

I heard the sound of Chloe's slippers dragging against the carpeted staircase. She looked miserable, her hair untamed, Her face in a state of grouchiness and sleep still present on her face.

"The dragon is awake" I smirked

"Bite me bitch" she snapped

I giggled and picked up her cat as I petted it, Ditsy purred in content at the attention she was receiving.

"I gotta go home, the rents are worried" I sighed

"You ready to face that dickhead?" She asked

"I'll be fine" I assured her

"Well, your always welcomed here " she smiled

I set down the cat and kissed my best friends forehead, heading back upstairs I got dressed in black sweats and a matching sports bra, not wanting to deal with my hair i pulled it into a ponytail and put on a hat followed by my sneakers.

I parked outside the house and sat in the car for ten mins mentally getting myself together.

I unlocked the door and I was greeted by Fairy.

"Ma, Pa I'm home" I called and I held Fairy to my chest

I got no response so I shrugged and headed upstairs to my room, I noticed that my bedroom door was ajar, I didn't leave it open when I left.

Inside Alex was holding a picture of me at our old hang out spot.
