ADAMNS POV

I never felt so far away from Mystery in my life....  A because that little shit had to go and make her feel bad because he can't get what he wants.

I took her home immediately,  she was under enough stress as it is already and I'm part of the reason why she has been stressed out lately.

Her brother opened the door for me when i got there.

"What happened?"he asked worry evident on his face

"She's really stressed, i had to take her away from school"I said holding her closer

I held her like a child,  her legs around my waist and head on my chest as I held under her butt and rubbed her back,  her thick hair in my face smelt fruity just like her.

"Take her upstairs, I'll make her favourite soup" he said

I passed him and went to here room that we secretly shared at night.  I placed her down gently and tucked her in,  I refuse to let the best thing to ever happen to me get overly stressed because of some jackass.

I knew from the start about this Drew guy that had a crush on her, I saw how he looked at her at school and I wasn't blind to his pure hatred for me but he needs to accept this a move on instead of being toxic to my woman.

I stood to my feet ready to leave her to sleep until she gripped my hand.  I looked down and realised that she was looking at me.

"Hi baby,  you okay? "I ask leaning forward to touch her cheek

"Just a little headache"she admitted

I kissed her knuckles and she played with my hair,  her eyes conveyed so much hidden sadness it made me madder than i already was knowing its was because of that jerk.

"Just sleep babe,  I'll be back" I whispered to her

"Where are you going? "She ask looking very scared again.

"To get the rest of your stuff from school,  I'll be back soon" I assured her

She calmed back down and let my hand go.

"Be careful"she smiled

"Don't worry I'll get you some frozen yogurt" I smiled

Her eyes lit up at the promise of food and she smiled.  I left her room and passed her brother in the kitchen.

"I'm heading back out" I said to him

"Back to school?" He asked

"To deal with some things" I shrugged

"Kay dude"

Once out in the fresh air I was  even more ready to handle this dude.

I made it back to school and found her best friend flustered looking for her.

"Adam where is Mystery? She hasn't been seen since her last class...."she was literally a mess

"Relax...  I took her home" I said

She seemed to come off and sugar high and stopped fidgeting and slumped down.

"Thank goodness....  I thought she left alone because that would be bad,  last time she left us alone if ended really badly .... Moving on,  why is she home? " she asked fixing herself

I blinked at her I can see why she and Mystery are friends,  they we're both strange in their own way.

"Calm down,  Mystery is  a bit too stresses out and needed a break" I explained with a shrug

Concern etched her face and worry and I felt very uncomfortable,  I can handle Mystery but other girls I can't fathom.

"Well, she's fine so I'm just gonna go"I said awkwardly trying to pass her

"Tell her to call Me!" She called after me

I waved my hand in acknowledgement at her as I strolled down the hall to find Drew.

I eventually spotted him sitting under the big oak tree his hoodie up, headphones in slicing up and apple with a Swiss knife.

"Yo dude" I called

He looked up at me,  his face gave off pure hatred and distain for me.  

I actually cracked a slight smile.

"You think it is fair to blame Mystery for not returning your feelings?" I asked harshly

He looked partially guilty and he better be sorry for it.

"I saw her first....  I liked her first, i wanted her first" he said gripping his knife tightly

"And yet, she still didn't return your feelings...  If she liked you like you liked her,  I wouldn't matter....  Don't blame her because she isn't into you..  It's pathetic, get your ass and move, the fuck on instead of dumping your shit onto her!" I spat

"You don't fucking get it, you got the ladies in love with you. You have it so easy and you barely care...  I'm better, for her, Your a delinquent that will drag her down" he said viciously

"Shut the, fuck up...  Your just a whinny bitch that was too cowardly to accept that this girl doesn't like you and instead of taking it like a man... Life is never fair but you, don't go pissing on peoples feelings because you had a bad experience... I'm not perfect,  far from and very fucked up but Mystery can see past it and that is all that matters.. She is MINE  so get over it! "I snarled my fists clenched

He looked, taken back and I frankly could care less if he cried like a, bitch. 
I turned in leave when I heard a, warrior cry,  to look back and see him charging at me with his army knife.

I barely had enough time to, duck so I caught his forearm he held, the knife, with and used the momentum to land a solid kick in his side causing him to crumple and release the knife.

He clutched his stomach as he struggled on his knees.

"She's a good person and she is sad because she believes she is as terrible as you made her believe....  You fix it or I will break your ribs next time"I said in his ear

He was grunting and, wheezing and I turned once more to leave this time making it to the car park without being stopped.

Once I got back Mystery was, still asleep and her, soup bowl sitting on her beside table empty. She was curled up on her side, her hair a tangled mess on her face and pillow, she was so gorgeous it hurt.

I pulled off my clothes and pulled on a pair of basket ball shorts and slipped in beside her, pulling her onto my chest where she snuggled into my chest and her hand gripped my side, her long luscious legs tangled with mine and her head went to the crook of my neck as she slept.... I fought the urge to chuckle at her but i rested hand on her ass and let sleep pull me under.
