I pursed my lips after Mystery left, I had invited Mitch out to chill at the skate park, I couldn't think of anything better to do.
My hair was still in its lovely mess that Mystery made and I didn't even bother fixing it, it's not like I'm looking cute for someone so.
I made sure to lock the door before I began my trek to the skate park not too far away and wasting gas was not apart of my vocabulary.
Within 10 minutes I was passing a laundry mat when I hear the sound of struggling and muffled sounds coming form the alleyway between the laundry mat and a closed pawn shop.
I sped towards the mouse and peeked around the corner to see a girl pushed against the wall by a mid aged dude. He held her by the throat with one hand and the other was feeling her up.
"Hey!Get the fuck off her" I shouted running up and shoving him off
He looked up and His shock was replaced with annoyance.
"Fuck off, this is my body... don't make me beat your ass" he sneered
The girl broke away and ran towards me.
"I FUCKING wish you would, now piss off before I call the cops" I spat
He snorted loudly and pulled out a pocket knife, at this point the sobbing girl was clinging to my back, I stepped back till she was against the wall and pried her hands off my back.
"Don't move" I said to her
He charged at me and I easily dodged his swing, I got in his space and uppercutted him in the jaw and smashed my forehead in his nose. Hearing that satisfying crunch, he stumbled back blood and snot drubbing down his chin he glared at me.
"I said piss off" I warned again
He spat out the blood and wiped his nose in his jacket. And lunged at me again, I punched him as hard as I could in the cut and twisted the blade out of his hand.
After that I pretty much blanked out and when Insane on him, all of the fury I had towards my parents, my failures, my stupid choices and everything that I kept buried away from Mystery I let out.
By the time I came back to my senses the guy was passed out face down with the blade in his leg and His wrist at an unusual angle.
I stated at my mess until I hear the sniffling girl who was still against the wall .
I turned and she sprinted into my arms, still crying and blubbering all over my Shirt, I awkwardly patted her back and stood there stiff.
"Thank you, thank you than you so much" she kept repeating
"It's fine" I said
She stepped back and I got a proper look at her.
"Emma?!!" I gasped
This girl in front of me looked like the spitting image of my dead sister but a little more matured, my chest clenched tightly as I was hit with memories I thought we once hidden.
"My names Robin" she corrected
My shoulders slumped in relief she wasn't my sister but it was beyond scary how alike they looked. I turned my back and cleared my throat.
"You okay?" I asked
"Yes, I'm fine thank you so much how can I repay you" she asked
"There is no repaying to be done, I did it as a good deed that's all... just keep out of trouble" I warned my voice solid
