Chapter 1: Unexpected Surprises

((Gengars POV))

Prologue

9/9/15

Power and hatred surged through the young Gengar's ghostly veins he walked slowly through the grassy fields at dusk.

looking for the item he had seen fall from the heavens above years ago, When he was a young Gastly.

Back then he had been too young and weak to venture far from his home, always getting beaten up so he stopped trying after a while.

But then when he had evolved into a Haunter he yet again tried to find that item but he found the path blocked by a Kadabra who used Psyshock and took him out almost instantly.

Ever since then the two had been rivals, years later they were both fully evolved he managed to beat Alakazam as a Gengar after many years of trying.

That was a few hours ago, he had been looking for awhile now, but just as he started to give up hope he noticed something gleam in the distance.

He decided that it might be the item in which he desired, so he hurried over to it and noticed that it was a small light purple, reddish rock, he smirked to himself as he looked at it with hunger.

He then grabbed it and something began to happen, he was growing, changing, becoming more ghost like.

He then floated up off the ground due to his lack of any legs anymore.

He then floated over the grassy fields he entered from and over the knocked out Alakazam. smirking at it laying there and continued onward back to his home, an abandoned house beyond the way.

Just out side his house he saw a young Pidgey, that Pidgey had been the one who had always started chirping really early in the morning waking him up.

"Time... To.... Test this new power!"

He raised his arms and summoned a dark portal that enveloped the Pidgey and then exploded on it leaving it laying there in a pool of its own blood.

"Ha, this going to be fun."

12/11/17

The gates stood slightly ajar to the large building they called the Elite 4.

I walk in confidently going straight up to the first door and walking in.

The lights go out as I go up the stairs and the top held little light I looked around to see a Dusknoir sitting there looking at me.

"So... your the latest challenger to think you are up to the challenge of beating me? So be it, lets battle."

The Dusknoir raised his left hand and sent out a Shadow Ball, I stealthily dodge.

I then grab my Gengarite and start to mega evolve.

He then looks at me stunned for a moment before sending another Shadow Ball at me, yet again I dodge.

"Ha, you think a Shadow Ball is going to beat me?"

I raise both my hands over my head and clap them together before vanishing with a Shadow Force.

The Dusknoir looks around anticipating my attack.

I then reappear right behind him and smash him in the back taking him down.

"Maybe I was the real challenge for you, Dusknoir."

Before raising my hand once more above my head and bring it down in a blazing fist knocking out the Dusknoir

I then revert back to my regular Gengar self and walk out smirking to myself

I then walk across the hall to find another unlocked door, I push it open and see a sight I never expected to see...

"Its been along time, hasn't it? Gengar"
