Michelle did not want anything to do with Lani, she already saw that Lani wasn't the type she'd like to surround herself with but Charlotte was different. She wouldn't judge unless you did something to her but most of all even if you did, she more or less challenge you than judge you.

"It's up to you guys, not me. Do whatever you want." Michelle would say.

That same night it was me, Charlotte and a couple school friends who were also girls that went. We all sat together at the party, half of everyone there was high off of something. Music was blasting but by the sound of speakers, it was cheap quality.

Upon arriving, a third of crowd was passed out or just literally there doing nothing but there was Lani's crowd nearby that kept the party hectic. Me and Charlotte were on the downlow on the alcohol, we barely took a sip that night.

"Mmmm, well, if it isn't Charlotte and Z... hmm.." Lani said coming over to sit with us.

With her was a couple of her friends, Misty and Carla. Misty was Lani's and bestfriend who was literally her bitch. Everywhere Lani went she followed. She was the girl that eyed us the first time we met Lani and she disliked us ever since Charlotte and Lani been friends.

I didn't know much Carla until this night, went that happened.

"You invited them to party?" Misty went.

"Relax Misty, she's my guest, play nice." Lani would smirk. "Zakia, would you like to join me?"

"Where are we going?" I asked, looking at Charlotte.

"Just you, it's private." Lani replied, scanning across the room for someone.

I got up and gestured Charlotte that I'd be fine and let.

Everything else that happened after was in absence of me.

After I left a few guys came over to them to goof off and flirt with them, when one of them went a little too close to Charlotte that's when the drama started.

Justine and Julie, our friends from school just went along with it. Misty literally had her legs all over the boys. Nobody went over to Carla, so she just chilled.

"Lemme get you another drink." The boy said.

"Nahh I'm fine, thanks." Charlotte replied, trying to escape his hands

"Awwhh come on, another drink won't hurt." The boy insisted.

"Grab a drink with him Charlotte." Justine went on. "Just have a good one for once."

"I can't, get of-"

"No-no-no, Luis just grab the drink, go-" Misty got up. "Go."

Luis left to grab another drink, while everyone was having a good time, Charlotte felt the most uncomfortable.

"I don't want to." Charlotte mumbled.

"What are you talking about? Come on, just do it." Misty insisted.

"Maybe you don't know Misty, but Charlotte has a boyfriend." Julie said.

"Hey I have a boyfriend too but he's not here." Justine went on enjoying herself.

"I'm not like that," Charlotte mumbled again.

"I'm sorry what?" Misty leaned over putting her hand over her ear to try to hear. "You're not like what?"

Charlotte looked up at Misty and saw she was trying to be intimidating.

Luis came back with the drinks.

"No no no, Luis its okay." Misty dismissed him. "You see Charlotte has a BOYFRIEND, probably kick your ass if HE WAS here now wouldn't he?"

Misty got up taking the drink from Luis's hands. Justine and Julie saw the fire inside Charotte just waiting to explode, but Charlotte stayed cool.

"Boyfriend.. ha. Really.. when are you going to stop being fake? I mean.. any of you girls ever seen him or meet him? Hmm? Justine? Julie?"

In a matter of seconds everyone in the house was silent and eyeballing what was going on in the main room.

"See Charotte is a goody-good, she doesn't know what it's like to be with the bad crowd."

"Suck a fat one Misty," Charlotte defended.

"Me?!" Misty got up, "You're telling me to suck a fat one? No no, you. Look who's talking, you're the one that needs one."

Misty swayed a little before delivering her final blow.

"Yeah, that's what I thought..." She turned away "..fatass."

Immediately, Charlotte got up and in a matter seconds had her hands gripped and pulling against Misty's hair. The commotion alarmed everyone and everyone was grouped up to watch Charlotte beat on Misty, but the fight ended after I stepped in to stop it.

Blood was all over Misty's scalp and after pulling Charotte away, Lani's friends had Misty on hold. Charlotte was covered in tears and I felt her heart racing as I took her outside.

"It's okay Charlotte, it's okay, I'm here." I tried calming her down, but she was still racing. Lani came out. I looked at her and saw everyone else crowded up behind her.

Charlotte was still crying. Tears were still going but she did not say a word. She wrapped her arm around me and just held me close until she was calm.

We took a few steps to the sidewalk, Lani came out rushing to ask Charlotte what had happened.

But Charlotte didn't say a word. She kept her focus on her phone as she called for her sister to come pick us up.
