Yo! Let's start with the updates. The first one explains why I couldn't update. I don't have a phone and for a while I didn't have a computer. My phone doesn't turn on and my computer charger wouldn't work but I have one now. With my phone, it's like it's trying to get enough power to turn on but can't. Any advice? It's an iPhone 4 if that helps. Am I the only one who doesn't like any of the iPhones after the 4s?
Update number two! I have too much stomach acid. So if I don't always have food on my stomach. my stomach will try to digest my stomach lining. This can make you get an ulcer (a hole in your stomach that causes internal bleeding and if you don't fix it, death) so I'm worried about that. Also they're hereditary and my grandma has had some before. Also running isn't good for that but I'm not going to stop.
Update three. My dad has high blood pressure now and it's pretty bad so please pray for him.
Four. Did I tell you mom tore her ACL? And broke her wrist? And her knee? Well she did so you can pray for her, too.
On to Cross Country! I freaking love it! I'm already dreading the end of the season. It's helped my asthma so freaking much. Before I could barely run a mile and now I'm running three mile races without stopping twice a week! Also, if you are struggling with sadness whether or not you have depression, run. Seriously it's helped me lot. Everybody helps each other out, too. Even if they're on another team. It's amazing. Now let's talk about my races.
My first race I didn't walk at all unless stopping for a not even two second counts. I was kinda nervous but I don't get nervous for races. It was really fun and my time was 29:43. That isn't that bad for a 5'3 asthmatic girl's first race. But any other time that sucks. It was the second biggest race in the country and I got 250th place. Also, I tried to spit and it didn't come out so it was just hanging there so I grabbed it and ran for two miles with a hand full of mucus. XD
Race number two was at my school. We won that one which is cool. I got 29:49 which ticked me off. I was running and was told to sprint the last half mile, which I did. But for some incredibly dumb reason I stopped and just ran. Then once I got in the shoot (the place lined with flags that leads you to the finish) I sprinted again. If I didn't stop, I would've PRed, which stands for personal record. So that race made me mad at myself, but I learned from it.
The next race my time sucked but I was still happy with that race. There was a hill right at one mile that screwed everybody up for the rest of the race. Downhill I didn't use much energy because I just let the hill do it's job and tried to to run into anybody or fall. Uphill, that's a different story. I leaned into the hill and I guess I shut off my brain because I don't exactly remember how I did on it. All I know is that it took my a solid half mile to breathe decently again. My time was 30:29? I don't remember the seconds but it's around there.
The last race I did was yesterday. That race was freaking AMAZING! Coach said he wanted all of us to PR. 17 of us did and in that 17 was all four of the girls. I beat my PR by over THREE FELLOWSHIPPING MINUTES! I got 26:05! I only planned on PRing by like- 30 seconds. I did stop breathing though. That was terrifying. But you'll have that with asthma.
So yeah, I should be able to update this book every Saturday again. I hope you enjoyed and I will see you, in the next chapter. Bye bye! (P.s. pray for Mark because his friend died and he's already been through a lot.)
