We've all taken an English class at one point in our lives, correct?
English class comes in handy for a lot of things. It teaches you how to use correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Now all three of those categories are for another tip, but what I want to bring to light is the use of a sub-category under punctuation. And also capital letters.
We know what they both represent. Excitement, yelling, anger.
But there's a time when you can overdo it.
For instance:
Dean marched over to me. "HOW COULD YOU SLEEP WITH HIM?! HE'S MY BEST FRIEND!
I couldn't believe he was yelling at me. "AT LEAST HE TREATS ME LIKE I'M SOMEBODY!!!"
"BUT WOULD HE LOVE YOU IF YOU WERE NOBODY?!!
"NOBODY LOVED ME WHEN I WAS A NOBODY!!!" (You're awesome if you know what movie that exchange is from).
So obviously, we all know when we're overdoing something to the point of extreme, and all I suggest is that we take our fingers off the Shift button, and don't press Caps Lock so often.
It'll look so much better in the long run.
To Suck
Unnecessary capitalization. Excess exclamation points.
Not To Suck
Being able to show the emotion in your stories by detail, not with huge words(literally) or too much punctuation.
(It's good to be back.)
