"You can't just leave" Calum grumbled grabbing Sophie's waist as she tried to sneak out of bed

"I was going to make you breakfast" she said swatting his hand away

"No you weren't" he grumbled holding her tighter

"No I wasn't but I'm hot and you're not helping" she said trying to get out of his grip

"You're always hot" Calum mumbled letting go of her burying himself in the blankets and stuffing his face in the pillows

"Oh shush" she pushed him further in the bed before walking to the bathroom. Calum peaked his head out of the pillows watching her go before laying back down and groaning.

He was starting to get these weird tingles every time he touched her, and it was getting on his nerves. Like every time he would put his arm around her tingles would shoot up his arm. He didn't know what it meant, and he didn't really want to know.

"What are you groaning at?" Sophie asked sitting on the edge of the bed running her fingers through his hair

"My coldness" he muffled into the pillow

"Oh you're fine, you have to get up anyways" Sophie said pulling the blanket off him making him shriek and sit up quickly

"That was just inhuman" Calum gaped fake glaring at her

"Sorry but I have to go, and I'm not leaving you here home alone"

"Why not? I do it all the time" he groaned falling back on the bed

"You stay here when someone's home or will be home, no one's going to be here" she said grabbing some jeans and slipping them on

"Now that's not true, what are you planning?" he asked sitting up and looking at her suspiciously

"Nothing" she lied zipping her jeans

"I know when you're lying Soph, what are you doing?" he asked standing up and walking over to her

"I'm going out with Wyatt" she mumbled

"Why do you need the house- oh. Oh!" he said shocked "Oh no, hell no, he doesn't deserve that. You said you were waiting for a while. Don't let him take that away from you Sophie"

"He's not taking it" she rolled her eyes moving past him "I'm giving it to him"

"I know what you're planning, and if you think I'm going to let you do that, you're insane" Calum said grabbing her wrist pulling her to face him

"You don't have a say in it" she said defensively

"Sophie, literally yesterday you were arguing with him about not wanting to do that, and now you're just going to let him take it"

"I didn't argue, you did" she pointed out

"I defended you because he wasn't letting off" he said trying to get his point across

"You can't stop me from doing this" she said taking her arm away from his grip

"I know that you really don't really want to do this, he's gotten into your mind and he's twisting your words. This is negative peer pressure" Calum said following her as she walked down the stairs into the kitchen

"What are you twelve?" Sophie asked rolling her eyes as she walked into the kitchen

"It's not a twelve year old idea, negative peer pressure is an idea that can be used at any age" Calum explained trying to catch up and stand next to her

"I'm an adult, I'll be eighteen soon I can make my own decisions" she said turning around quickly making Calum halt and stop right in front of her almost chest to chest. Since he was a good three or four inches taller she had to look up at him but she was glaring which made her seem taller and more powerful.

"I don't want you to do this" he whispered because it seemed right in the moment

"Why is it that big of a deal to you?" she asked her glare softening just a little

"I'm here to protect you and make sure you stay true to you, I don't want you give yourself away to someone who you come to me crying about. If this was a different guy with a different scenario then I would most likely be more accepting. But he hurts you and treats you like trash, and I don't want your first time to be with a douche bag like him"

"I just don't want to be a virgin at thirty Calum" she plopped down in a chair putting her head in her hands

"You won't" he chuckled "You'll find someone who'll treat you right and you'll get married and then you'll give that away but until then keep it, it's a gift"

"Do you really believe that?" she asked pecking her eyes out

"Of course I do" he said sitting next to her and rubbing her back "You're great Soph, and you deserve someone you will treat you great"

"Thanks Cal, you're the best" she said sitting up straight and hugging him which basically meant she was in his lap. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close putting his head in her shoulder.

"Cancel your plans with Wyatt, let's do something fun" Calum mumbled into her shoulder

"Ok" she whispered into his hair pulling her phone out of her pocket but stayed on Calum's lap. She typed something on her phone before setting it on the counter and looked at Calum.

They just stared at each other for a while, Calum got those stupid butterflies in his stomach again and it was really bothering him but at the same time he didn't mind.

"What shall we do today?" Sophie asked finally breaking the silence

"Let's go out, we can go anywhere you want. We have a family dinner tonight though" Calum reminded

"Stupid Saturday family game night thing" she groaned putting her forehead on his shoulder

"You just hate it cause you lose" he teased smiling down at her, she gaped raising her head

"We're on the same team stupid"
