Chapter Three
"My name is Amy." I told Brooklyn while enjoying the breakfast she had made. "I actually came here wondering to find my mother." I confessed. "So did you get to meet her?"asked Brooklyn with a worrisome husky voice."No" I replied. I wasn't voluntary to talk about mom with some stranger so I tried changing the subject.
Looking at the pictures on the wall I pointed directly to the one that had caught my eyes. It was a picture of a young lady that looked like she was in her mid 30's, standing beside her was a boy with a cute bowl hair cut. "Who's that?" I asked. "She is quite a beauty."I added before she could reply. "Oh that's someone I know, and you see that boy standing beside her? She devoted her life inorder to raise him. And now she has grown old all she could do is help some clueless girl who now is sharing a meal together with her.""Woooow that was you?" I had my eyes opened wide to my surprise. "Oh wait so that's your son?". She hummed and replied," You mean my grandson?". "I have raised him since he was two, he lost both parents to a car accident. His mother was one of my students." "You see I used to work as a music instructor and his mom was one of my students."
Right then the door went open making a squeaky sound. Turning towards the door stood a handsome fellow about 185cm tall with bushy eyebrows with nice long hair. His light brown colored eyes sparked as he looked at me nervously. "Daniel there you are, do you know how worried I was?" He came towards Brooklyn and gave her a hug and whispered,"Sorry Nana." She smiled at him and turned to me,"Daniel this is Amy introduce yourself." Daniel shook my hand looking directly to my eyes and said," Hello I'm Daniel nice too meet you." I could see his perfect smile across his face. How can anyone be so good looking.I thought to my self." Hhhello I... I'm Amy." I stuttered. Shoot! What's wrong with me? That was so embarrassing. I thought to my self. "Okay go get changed and have some breakfast." Ordered Brooklyn.
Right after Daniel left I stood from my seat,"Thank you for the meal thank you for everything I guess I should leave by now." I suggested. "And where exactly are you going?"Brooklyn glared at me. "Ummmm well to find my mother." I replied. "Do you know your way around?"asked Brooklyn. "No." I answered. "Here's a suggestion, why don't you stay here and help me out with somethings while I could also help you find your mother." I couldn't resist since I had nowhere to go. I slowly went to my seat and sat down.
