RICHARD GOMEZ.

Reporter: After the elections po, matutuloy na ba yung project niyo with Richard Gomez?
Dawn: Hopefully! We're still negotiating with Star Cinema. Hopefully matuloy.
  eksena?
Dawn: Wala! Wala talaga, 'cause Goma and I have always been good friends and wala naman
yun sa mga pamilya namin so there's no problem.
Reporter: Another question po, Ms.Dawn. Some people think kase na kaya nag-click ulit ang love  team niyo ay dahil may feelings pa kayo sa isa't isa. Tama po ba?
Dawn: Naku! I think yung pagiging pagkaibigan talaga namin ang dahilan, sanay na kami sa isa't isa. Hindi kasi awkward kaya siguro nila naeenjoy.

Reporter: Pero wala na po talaga kayong feelings sa isa't isa?

Me: AYYYY BASTA WE'RE GOOD FRIENDS. YUN NA YUN! (laughs)

Back in Ormoc, I watched Bandila before going to bed. The moment I opened the television, Dawn's interview was aired.

Wala na po ba kayong feelings para sa isa't isa? That could be one of the hardest  questions in the whole world, not because I do not know the answer but because I know very well but just couldn't admit it.

I shook my head when I heard Dawn's claim of us being nothing else but friends. I knew she was lying. Mahal pa rin namin ang isa't isa, my heart screamed what my lips couldn't. With all honesty, my heart shattered into pieces then. I never knew it was that painful to hear Dawn deny the mutual feelings we've always had. If only we were free, we would surely make the best couple in the world. I was again, in that moment, living in a world that could have been.

Still so disturbed, I reached for my phone inside my pocket. I stared at Dawn's contact details for a couple of minutes until I finally pressed the call button. It rang, kept ringing, but no one picked up. I tried it again and the same thing happened. I scratched my head out of frustration. I should have stopped, but because I was so desperate to tallk to Dawn, I just sent her a message instead.

Dawn, I want to talk to you. Can you pick up or call me soon? This is important.

After I sent that, I stood up and placed my phone on the table. Feeling thirsty, I went straight to the kitchen to get some water. Sana magreply si Dawn, I wished.

DAWN ZULUETA.

I woke up in the middle of the night not feeling exactly well. When I looked beside me, there was Anton sleeping calmly. I then turned to the other side of the bed and noticed that my phone was blinking. I slightly got up just enough to reach the phone placed beside the lampshade.
