"My Sister Susan is no longer a friend of Narnia,"

"Whenever you'd try to get her to come and talk about Narnia or do anything about Narnia she'd say "What wonderful Memories you all have! Fancy you're still thinking about all those funny games we used to play when we were children.""

"She's interested in nothing nowadays except Nylons and lipstick and invitations. She always was a jolly sight too keen on being grown-up."

"Grown up indeed. I wish she would grow up. She wasted all her school time wanting to be the age she is now, and she'll waste all the rest of her life trying to stay that age. Her whole idea is to race on to the silliest time in one's life as quick as she can and then stop there as long as she can."

"Don't let's talk about that now."

That had been two weeks ago.

The three Pevensies (Edmund, Peter, and Lucy), Lady Polly and Lord Diggory (Professor), Eustace and Jill, Tumnus, and Caspian were gathered by Beruna, reclining in the soft grass that only seemed better and brighter as did everything in True Narnia.

Caspian looked around at all of his friends. The soft wind was gently sweeping his hair, caressing his face, and he smiled, closing his eyes against the sun, enjoying the feeling of being... home. It was strange since at first, he thought the new Narnia would not feel like home. But somehow, it did. And with the Pevensies by his side...Well...Almost all of them.

He frowned, opening his eyes to cast a look at the circle of his close friends. All of them were light and happy. As if... as if the Gentle Queen never existed. As if she wasn't missed. As if... as if this place truly was perfect to them.

As if a world was perfect when she wasn't in it.

He sighed angrily. They had all forgotten about Susan, as he had almost done these past weeks. Was this how they would hold the Queen's memory? As the one who had forgotten Narnia? As the one who had to suffer since she was no longer a friend of Narnia?

He missed her. He missed his love. He had never married Liliandil, since he was so in love still with Susan. Instead, he had trained a young orphan named Rillian to become king after he had. Rillian had turned out to be know as one of the greatest kings in Narnian History.

Surely her sibilings must miss her as much as he did. Didn't they? Occasionally he had noticed a sad look to Lucy's face, a lack of pep in Edmund. But Peter had seemed not to care. Which made Caspian believe Peter was hiding his sadness.

"Caspian, are you okay?" Edmund asked his best friend, a worried tone in his voice.

But Edmund's question was answered by the look he saw in Caspian's eyes. Loss. He was thinking of Susan. Susan. Edmund shook his head. How had he almost forgotten of his own sister?

"I miss her too Caspian," Edmund said sending his friend a sad smile.

"I miss Susan too you guys," Lucy said, the smile she had on her face disappearing.

"Susan is being a silly foolish young lady. There is no way we can help her now," Lady Polly said.

"Don't speak like that! She is my sister, and once your queen. Bite your tongue," Peter blurted, his feeling of sadness finally coming to the surface.

Lady Polly looked shocked at Peter's outburst. "Even you, High King Peter, must admit we can do nothing for her now."

"Just because you believe that doesn't mean we have to," Edmund said, his voice also becoming an unusually harsh tone.

"Peter! Edmund! Don't get upset with Lady Polly. She can have her own opinions. And just a few weeks ago you were saying the same sort of things," Lucy scolded, "I'm sorry to say I was also saying these things."

Peter and Edmund both apologized to Lady Polly.

"Professor, do you know of anything we can do?" Edmund asked.

"Nay. I'm sorry Edmund," Lord Diggory said.

The group sat in silence for a while. Caspian took this moment to collect his thoughts. His love needed him. He would do anything if given the chance that it could save her.

"Jill, Eustace, what do you think?" Caspian asked his old friends.

"I think Susan was just mislead. She needs the guidance of someone she loves," Jill said, while running a hand through her blond hair, and sighed.

"Maybe we could ask Aslan?" Eustace suggested, though made it sound as if it was a question.

Aslan! Why had no one else thought of that? Aslan could do anything, couldn't he?

The Pevenises and Caspian, along with Jill, Eustace, and the so far silent Tumnus set out towards Aslan's Howe with one goal. Saving Susan from herself.
