A.N-I apologize in advance for this chapter's shortness. Hopefully, this is good enough to keep you all satisfied until exams are over. It might be a little hard to follow, but I had to cram an awful lot of stuff into this so that way the next chapter flows correctly.

-

Leah and Edmund walked hand-in-hand to the house. The silence between them spoke of what had just happened. However, the guilty look on Leah's face said much too. Edmund turned to her.

"Leah, I..."

"I know," she sighed, resting her head on his shoulder.

-

The two broke apart as Leah started to cry.

"Are you alright?" Edmund asked, pulling away, worried he had offended her.

"I'm fine... It's just... I'm engaged," Leah's sobbing began at that last word.

"Engaged?" Edmund's mouth went agape.

"I-i thought I'd never see you! what did you expect me to do! You were dead! Then Seth came and swept me off my feet. He's off in military practice... Great! Now I'm guilty of cheating!" Leah buried her face into her hands.

"Leah, I'm sorry. I didn't know... I'm so sorry. It's really not your fault," Edmund tried to comfort her.

"Ed, can we just pretend this mistake never happened?" Leah asked.

Edmund flinched at the word mistake and sighed. "Maybe for you it was a big mistake and you can forget, but.."

"I understand," Leah stood up quickly.

"Edmund took her hand. "At least let me walk you back like this."

"Alright." She sighed defeated.

-

The two reached the corner the house was on, and broke apart quickly.

"This never happened," Leah said sadly, walking quickly through the back door.

Edmund sighed, but followed her into the kitchen.

"So," Susan started, "How did your conversation go?"

Leah stiffly spoke "Fine."

Edmund nodded in agreement.

Susan smiled tightly and nodded. "I understand."

"What do you understand?" Caspian asked as he walked into the kitchen. He wrapped his arm around Suasn's waist.

"Nothing you need to worry about," Susan kissed him quickly.

They made their way back tot he sitting room, where Lucy aka 'Sara' and Felicity were still chatting.

Edmund and Leah sat far apart from each other. Lucy raised her eyebrow, but said nothing.

A knock at the door, however, broke the chatter.

"Who could that be? I wasn't expecting anyone," Susan wondered out loud.

"I'll get it," Felicity spoke. "You need to rest."

Felicity passed the entrance way, coming to the door. She could see two figures outside.

"Hello? Who's there?" Felicity asked through the door.

"Umm.." the voice paused. "It's Patrick King and Thomas Fawn."

"Susan!" Felicity called back to the room. "It's two men. They say their names are Patrick King and Thomas Fawn?"

Lucy got up quickly. "I'll take this. Felicity, go set the table for tea, please."

"Alrighty Sara," Felicity shrugged and walked to the kitchen.

Lucy opened the door and stepped outside, throwing her arms around both men.

"How?" She asked.

"Long story," Patrick spoke.

"And you," Lucy turned to Thomas. "You I'm just glad to see."

"Thanks, Lu," Thomas spoke with a laugh, his grin matching hers.

Lucy turned deadly serious. "Does this mean we have to go now?"

Patrick shook his head. "Of course not. Aslan just has discovered that He can send us as well."

Lucy smiled widely. "Susan will be so glad to see you!"

Patrick shook his head. "I was the worst. I hurt her badly... This is my fault."

Lucy shook her head. "No it's not. She will forgive you." She then turned more chipper. "Anyways, I'm Sara, Edmund's John, and Caspian is Benjamin. Oh and Leah can see us."

Thomas laughed. "We know."

"Okay... Well then come on! Tea's in the kitchen," Lucy's ushered the guests in.

Susan, at the sight of the two men, gasped. She stood up quickly, stumbling a bit, and made her way over to them.

"Peter! How did you get here?" She whispered as she pulled him into a hug.

Peter hugged her back. "I'll explain later. Right now, I think we should do as Lucy says and act as if everything is peachy keen. I missed you, sis."

"I missed you too," Susan smiled at her older brother.

However, the happy reunion was brought to an end as Felicity stepped out of the kitchen.

"The tea is r-... Peter?"

-
