Dedicated to my amazing little sister :) Go Eva! Can you guys check out her poem How Beautiful??? It would mean a lot to her :)
"Oh James! That sounds wonderful," Susan gushed. Her family and a majority of her friends had died in a train accident two years ago. She was hurting bad, but was finding, well, other means of dealing with her sadness.
"Yes, I promise Susan. It will be a big house, with a stable and everything. All I need is a queen to rule over the kingdom," James said with a laugh at the end.
Susan's face had not changed, but inside of her that one tiny word caused her already shattered heart to break more. Queen. Her heart tightened thinking of this.
She tried to push the memories out. She tried to forget. Yet the memories came flooding back. Narnia. The coronation of her and her siblings. Leaving her land for the first time.
And then the most painful. Seeing the Telmarine the first day in the woods. The Telmarine prince. The archery lesson where she first felt that true spark. Finding out that never again would she enter Narnia. Kissing... His name was too hard to think about, or even say.
Susan excused herself, saying she had to get home. The minute she was alone, however, the tears came down her face. She no longer was the person she had once been.
What had she done to herself? She had turned into a different person. Since the day she found out about Liliandil from Eustace and Lucy, she had turned on all things Narnia. In fact, she had turned into a different person all together.
Sneaking out to parties. Going to bars. Becoming so obsessed with her appearance that her looks were all she cared about. Just some of her changes since that day.
With her family's death, she had turned worse, looking for love and affection from the wrong people. James was her third "boyfriend" in three weeks.
As she sat down, a soft wind caressed her face, reminding her of... No! that name no longer existed. He married that star girl Lilian or something.
And Aslan. He was the one not allowing her to come back. She was angry with the Lion. Her anger at Aslan and...him was why she was doing this.
"Well Aslan, I hope you can see whats become of me since you abandoned me," Susan though with a dark chuckle. "And I hope "he" sees its his fault."
She wiped her tears and stood up, heading to the nearest bar to drown her sorrow in drinks.

"Well Aslan, I hope you can see whats become of me since you abandoned me and I hope "he" sees its his fault." Aslan heard as he watched the gentle Queen of Old.
He sighed sadly. Susan had completely pushed him out of her life. He had tried to call her back to him, but each time he tried she pushed away harder. He soon feared she would be so far gone that he would have no chance to save her.
He paced around the Howe, wondering how the queen had become so bad. As he thought, he realized that Susan thought Caspian married Liliandil. That had been the straw that broke the camels back.
If only she had listened when Eustace tried to tell her about Caspian. But she said "Funny you still remember those games." Aslan shook his head, deciding to watch Caspian and the other Pevensies for a while. Or focus on them, as He always watched everyone.
"Do you think we can save Susan?" Lucy asked Tumnus on their way to the Howe.
"I have faith in your family and Caspian, as well as Aslan. You can help her," Tumnus assured her.
"We will help her," Edmund said firmly.
Caspian walked quietly as Lucy, Edmund, and Tumnus spoke. If she couldn't be saved, he would be crushed. Susan was the most important person in his life, even though she wasn't in it currently.
"Don't worry Caspian. We can help her," Jill told her friend.
"I know we can help her. I'm just worried for her," Caspian said.
"We all are. I wish I had tried to help her back in England," Peter said. He felt awful for pushing her away in England. He should have realized she was crying out for help. That she was lost.
"We all wish that," Eustace sighed, angry at himself and his family.
The group arrived at the Howe, only to find Aslan already waiting for them.
"You must help her."
