DARK BOSS SERIES 1: WICKED ENCOUNTER
PROLOGUE
"MR. GUZMANO, kailan po kayo lalabas diyan sa bahay niyo? The Board of Directors wants to see you in person. We all need to see you." Anang Executive Assistant ni Nykyrel na si Daniel Mendoza sa kabilang linya ng telepono.
Nykyrel rolled his eyes. People and their fucking annoying curiosity.
Sa halip sa sagutin, pinatay ni Nykyrel ang tawag at i-te-next nalang niya ang sasabihin kay Daniel. He is a very hard working fella, Daniel deserve where ever he is now. Isa ito sa mga taong pinagkakatiwalaan niyang magpatakbo sa kompanya niya.
Daniel will never betray him. Nykyrel knows that from the moment he saw the man helping an old man cross the street safely. Matagal na iyon, pero naaalala pa niya. 'Yon 'yong mga panahon na lumalabas pa siya, pero nang mawala ang ama niya, minabuti niyang manatili sa mansiyon niya.
At least here, no one can harm him. No one.
'Tell them what i said the last time you called. N-O-P-E. Nope.' Then he hit the send button.
Itinapon niya ang cell phone sa ibabaw ng kama saka hinubad ang lahat ng saplot at pumasok sa nakakonektang banyo sa silid niya.
Nykyrel stared at himself in the mirror as he shaved his whiskers off. Mapait siyang ngumiti.
He is a very handsome man. Thanks to his parents good genes. But he had been scarred beyond belief. It may not be physically, but his scars runs too deep into his very soul. Some of it is carved in his soul and heart, and it will never heal. Never.
There was never a day in his life that he wasn't humiliated. I'm done. Ayoko nang makisalamuha sa mga taong makikitid ang utak at mapanghusga. Ayaw niyang maging parte ng lipunan na tanging inaabangan lang ay ang pagbagsak ng isa't-isa.
Tinapos niya ang pagsi-shave saka naligo. Kailangan niyang magmadali, may tatapusin pa siyang Report para sa susunod na Board Meeting. Not that he's going to attend. As usual, si Daniel na naman ang gagawin niyang taga-pagsalita.
He cannot speak for himself.
