~Few Months Later~

"Peeta! All I want to do is just go for a run!" I yell

"No way! Not when Gale has been spotted on our boarders!" He yells and I scream in frustration

"You know! Just because your alpha! Doesn't mean your the leader of what I do!" I yell and he looks taken back but then his eyes turn a dark blue

'Great job Katniss! Now his wolf is angry with us!'

I just shut out Jessica, I need to deal with this, not her

"I do this cause I love you! Do you remember when you didn't listen last time?!" He yells, he's right

"See! That's why I haven't let you go out! He's still out there!" He yells

"I'm capable to take care of myself!" I yell and run out of the house and run into the woods through the deep snow tears streaming down my face till I'm deep in the forest and I fall next to a tree and cry

"Awe, did the mean alpha upset you?" I hear a familiar voice say and I look around and suddenly Gale emerges from the trees with a dagger in his hand

"No, I didn't listen, he said you were out here" I spit standing and he slams me against the tree and my wolf whimpers and he lightly traces the dagger over my shirt

"Too bad loverboy isn't here to help you" he pouts

"Peeta help!" I mind link

"Katniss! Baby! Where are you?!"

"In the woods, Gales here, come quick!"

"Don't worry baby I'm coming!"

"Maybe I should start with the pants? What do you think?" Gale says touching my jeans button, just as he goes to undo the button we hear a loud growl and Peetas huge dark wolf emerges

"Ah! Peeta how nice of you to join us! I was just getting my share!" Gale says

"Let Katniss go Gale and I might spare your life" he growls in the group link

"Oo! No disrespect alpha, but I just can't, you see this dagger" he holds it up "if you try anything this dagger will go right through your mate and kill her instantly" he says and my eyes widen looking at Peeta, I should've listened to him

"Don't!" He growls and Gale smirks raising the dagger and I close my eyes to wait for it to hit me but it doesn't and when I open my eyes I see Peeta still in wolf form standing over Gales lifeless body, a chunk taken out of his neck that's when I see darkness.

"What happened?" I hear Finnicks voice so I keep my eyes shut

"It's all my fault, I yelled at her saying that she couldn't go for a run because Gale was spotted around our boarders, she got upset and ran out of the house, I'm a terrible mate" I hear his voice crack, an alpha crying?

"My father would be ashamed" he cries

"No Peeta! Father would be so proud! You've kept the pack safe and you protected your mate!" I hear Prim say

"But I'm a terrible mate" he sobs and that's when I think it's time to wake up, give him a little talk so I groan

"She's waking up!" I hear Annie say and I open my eyes and it's all blurry but soon my vision comes back and I see beautiful blue eyes
