Paige POV
"What is wrong with you?!"
"Shut up or I will kill your family."
"I thought you were my family."
"Paige! Paige, stop its not real, it's ok." Kylie was sitting on floor next to the couch that I had sprawled out on. I had sticky tear stained cheeks, and my heartbeat was unbearably out of control. Kylie's words slowed my breathing as she stroked my hair.
"Where's is John?" I choked out.
"Everyone is asleep, you and I fell asleep on the couches." She replied. I looked at the clock. 1:14 am. Pete came down the stairs in his boxers, and plain T-shirt. He looked startled to see us.
"What's going on?" He hesitated to continue walking towards us.
"We can't sleep. What are you coming down stairs for?" Kylie asked. Pete was in the kitchen grabbing something.
"Milk." He came out of the door closest to us holding a gallon and smiled at the thought of milk.
"Oh my goodness." I rolled my eyes and forgot about the recent event.
"Oh sorry, did you want a glass?" He questioned and started Turing around to head back into the kitchen.
"No, Pete I'm ok but thanks." I said stopping him from grabbing a glass from the cabinet. I wonder how often Pete got up in the middle of the night to drink milk.
"Why didn't you go home?" Pete asked me.
"I don't know, I fell asleep." I sighed.
"You should move in!" He said excitedly . I laughed and shook my head.
"Oh come on Paige why not? You're always here with us, and it's probably just a pain in the butt to have to walk back and forth between 'boring house' and 'awesome house'."
"Where would I sleep?"
"Basement."
"That's where Ryan sleeps."
"There's another bedroom down there." He said.
"I don't like the basement." I whined.
"You're picky." He said.
"I know." I replied. The milk carton in his hand was almost empty. Jeez no wonder we run out of milk so fast.
