"Ouch!" A girl tripped right before my feet. She had blonde hair, fair skin, brown eyes, and by the looks of it. Didn't fall on purpose.

Sure enough there was Maddi taking pictures.

"Oh, I'm sorry Bambi. Gravity was always on your bad side."

"Why not I show you what else gravity can do." She muttered under her breath.

Maddi just smiled and walked on. And the on goers just snickered and moved on. The poor girl was still picking her books up at my feet. I wasn't just going to stand there. I bent down. And helped her pick them up.

"Hey are you ok?" I asked.

She looked at me skeptically sizing me up, as if I were to attack her. "I'm fine." She calmly managed before taking off.

It's not that I felt rejected. If anything I felt nothing at all, being at so many different high schools in 2 years really shows I'm not staying anywhere too long. So I just avoided making friends. I mean I always had my dad to confide in. Being alone I guess was in my nature.

"Thank you." I grabbed my schedule from the receptionist and looked at my first class. Shop. No not clothes and shoes, and purses. But shop. As in, Blades and safety goggles and wood.

I smiled. I was so familiar with this. I'd been making things out of wood ever since I could remember. Last summer when we visited my aunt, me and my cousin Robbie built Anneline a tree house. It lacked structure. But it held firmly.

Usually if there was a class to do with engineering I would pick that over shop. But unfortunately I had no such Luck.

I walked around trying to find my way to shop. When a boy around my age ran around the corner and smashed right into me knocking my stuff everywhere.

"Hey watch where you’re going!!" I yelled.

He turned around still running. "Sorry!"

I bent down a picked up my books alone. "Asshole." I mumbled.

I felt someone neal beside me.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"I had to return the favor some time." She smirked. "I'm Bambi. With an I."

"I'm Cassie, with a C." I smiled, then added. "Well while you're here, can you help me find Shop next?" I asked.

"Oh, did they place you in shop."

"Yeah."

"They did that to Regan too. All the other electives are full. Maybe in the 2nd semester you can change to something you want."

"No. Shop is cool..." I said.

"Oh alright. Well first of all you're walking the wrong way to shop." Bambi giggled.

I hadn't even noticed. Thank god she came when she did or I would have been late. I hate fashionably late entrances. Remember my 3 laws of survival?

But as soon as I walked into shop, it was as if all my rules were thrown out the window. I was the only girl in this class.

I would have taken agun to my head righ then and there if i could.
