Chapter 35

2 hours of driving around town and I still couldn't pin point where Jace had been hiding at. And i didn't know where he lived....

Unless.

I quickly drove to the nearest starbucks and ran out of the car still leaving the engine running.

"Hello how may I help you."

"Where can i find the yellow pages around here?"

"Yellow pages?"

"Yeah, you know those big books where it gives you everyones number that creeps use to stalk you and find out where you live." I explained quickly to the employee.

"Oh, those yellow pages!" She laughed.

She reached under the counter and pulled out a big phone book.

"Here ya go."

"THANKYOU! I'M KEEPING THIS!"

I made a run for my car and sped off to the nearest taco bell and sat in the parking lot.

"Jace, Jace, Jace, Jace..." I scanned through the constant names of J's and still couldn't find him.

That was really strange. He wasn't answering his phone either.

"DAMNMNN." I mumbled throwing the yellow pages into the back seat.

"I'm just gonna have to ask around." I mumbled, That's when I spotted her.

"BAMBI!!!" I screamed making her look around and lose her balance.

"WHAT!?" She screamed, falling.

"OH GOD!" I jumoed out of my car to help her up.

"WHY DID YOU SCARE ME LKE THAT!?"

"Shhhhh." I hushed her, "You're causing a scene."

Bambi had an awaiting look, "Uhm, hi?"

"Hi. I need your help." I smiled.

"Sureee." Bambi said unsure. "Cassie you're acting reeealllly weird. Oh my gosh are you High? I knew Tyler would do this to you eventually."

"Wait what?" I asked confused.

"Everyone knows Tyler is after your ass." She laughed, "Guess you caught the snake, he's such a pig and he smokes waayyyy to much weed."

"I thought weed was illegal here?" I asked.

"Yeah, that's why you shouldn't be smoking it!"

"But i'm not!"

"Oh you're not!? LOL thank god for that!"

"Bambi! Focus!" I shook her shoulders and snapped in her face.

"Right, what did you need?"

"I needed your help."

"Needed? As in past tense, does that mean I can leave? I have a huge geometry test to study for."

"BAMBI!"

"RIGHT FOCUS! I SWEAR I'M FOCUSING NOW!"

"I need you to show me where Jace lives."

"Alright, but can I get a starbucks first. I'll listen to you then."

I smacked my forhead and dragged her into the store.
