"Hey Jace?" I asked him as we were walking down the streets our arms swinging back and forth. I loved holding his hand.

"Yes?" He asked.

"I wanna meet your mother."

He stopped in his tracks. "What?"

"I know you don't love her, but there has to be something good that will come out of this." I smiled.

"Yeah, she'll stop pot for a day, clean the house, and dress up so you don't call CPS."

"Exactly!" I smiled.

"You're alot dumber than you make yourself out to be Cassie." He poked my nose. "And she hates me, and she'll invite my aunt and your Dad just to impress yall."

"And that's so bad? To want to make a good first impression?"

"Well in situations like this, yes." He put his hand up to his forehead in frustration.

"Jace, I'm sorry." I pulled him closer. I kissed his cheek. "Hmph." I said when he didn't do anything.

"It's ok." He said kissing my forehead.

"Well for the record, you're alot more social than you make yourseld out to be." I smiled.

"Oh really?" He smiled grabbing my sides.

"Jace!" I gasped for breath laughing, running.

"Here comes the Tazer!" He taunted chasing me all the way to the subway.

By the time we reached my train I was breathless and had cramps.

"you jerk." I slapped his arm laughing, "I have cramps."

"TMI." He said putting his arms up in surrender.

"Not those cramps." 'I glared at him.

"Right." He said grabbing the ticket from the machine for me, and handing it to me. "Bye." He said.

I stood in subway train doorway, "Jace!" I exclaimed.

"Just kidding." He laughed leaning into the train to kiss me.

The train sounded signalling they were leaving.

"You have to go!" I smiled.

"Nah." He said grabbing a ticket. "Taking you all the way home sounds better to me." He said.

Jace took a seat next to me.

"I love that poster." I smiled the aquarium picture of a penguin across the bus.

"Why?" He asked.

"Becuase penguins are cute." I said.

"There's got to be more reason behind it." He said.

"Did you know penguins spend their whole life looking for their true mate?" I blurted out.

Jace took a breath as if to say something, but I continued.

"Some die of old age without meeting their mate, they are very loyal. And if their wife was dying, gross enough, they'd cough up their own meal to give to her even if he was starving. They Love eachother unconditionally."

"Have you found your penguin?" He asked looking down on me.

"I don't know." I said.

"I want to be your penguin." Jace teased hugging me tightly. "I hope you know I'd do anything for you."

And I believed him.

--

Jace kissed me goodbye and got a ticket back to his house.

BeckyGotSwag: So are you guys a thing?

Me: I dont really know actually. :)

I explained everything on my blog, and my fans are so supportive.

Question Of The Day:

hmm.

Question Of The Day: Is this meant to be?

I was about to close my laptop when another message popped up.

ManOfTheHouse: So how would you describe your realtionship?

Wow, that really gave me something to think about.

Me: In Love, without a Cause. We just are. What we have just simply  is. :)

"Dinner's ready!"

"Ok!" I said hitting enter, and shutting my laptop.

"Here get the casorole." My dad said getting the turkey off the grill.

"What is this? Thanksgiving? Two weeks early?" I smiled.

"Oh no! Your corn is burning!" I grabbed it from the stove in one hand and got the green bean casorole in my other hand shutting the oven with the side of my foot, and carefully brought both dishes to the table.

"Hey Dad?" I said once he had brought in the turkey and set it in the middle as a center peice.

"yeah?" he said digging in.

"I want to meet Jace's parents this week."

"Well have you talked to him about it?"

"Well i brought it up on the train on the way home."

"And?"

"He wasn't too sure."

"Why?" My dad said getting spectical.

"His mom isn't the most stable woman." I said.

"Oh."

"She's widowed."

"Do I get to meet her?"

"Well I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem." I said recalling when he'd said she'd want my dad to come too. "Just please, if you like her, dont. This dinner is about Me and Jace, not for you to hook up with my boyfriends mom.

See? You consider him a boyfriend. You said so yourself.

That little voice in the back of my head said.

"Don't worrie." My dad laughed. "These loins are done."

"EWWW!" I shrieked throwing peas at my dad.

"Oh really!?" He laughed flinching at the flying peas and threw mash potatoes at me.

I threw corn at him, and he grabbed a handful of mash potatoes and came around the table smushing it into my face.

"Dad!" I laughed.

This is what I loved about my Dad, he was still a kid at heart. But he was also very responsible adult.

"Ok. Well today is your day to do the dishe's and you're cleaning up." He laughed.

"What?" I yelled down the hall to him. "you did it too!"

"you started it!" He yelled back.

"ughhh!" I groaned getting to work.
