Something nipped at my tail as I slept. Groaning I opened my eyes to see Moonkit playing with my tail. It had been a few days since The new kits learned to walk. And they were getting more rambunctious every day. "Hey get out of here you cheeky kit!" I mewed softly. "But I like it in the medicine den!" She complained. Sighing heavily I mewed "fine you may stay but be careful. Got it." She nodded eagerly. I purred. She would make a great medicine cat that's for sure. I thought to myself. I picked up some marigold and laid it in front of her. "Sniff and tell what you smell." I demanded. Moonkit quickly bent down and took a big whiff of the fragrance that oozed from the leaves. "It smells... Sweet!" She squeaked. "Do you know what it is?" I mewed curiously. She thought for a moment the her eyes brightened up. "Is it marigold?" She asked I nodded surprised. "How did you know?" I mewed. She looked at me and once again the image of the older white cat yellow eyes appeared. I shook my head and standing in front of me was Moonkit with her deep blue eyes staring at me in confusion. "Are you alright you looked kinda scared for a heartbeat." She mewed looking concerned. "It was nothing, I'm fine." I mewed reassuringly.
A Few Days Later"Rosefur!" Berrypelt mewed loudly while sharply nudging my side. "What?" I complained. "It's time to head to the MoonStone." I shot to my paws quickly and shook the moss out of my fur. "How late is it?" I asked. "It's around dusk. The others will be waiting." She mewed quietly. I padded out of the den and stretched my stiff limbs. I spotted Petalnose bathing in the sun. I trotted up to her. "Hi Petalnose." I mewed cheerfully. At the sound of my voice and Petalnose sat up and yawned. "Hey Rosefur where are you off to." She queried. "To the MoonStone duh." I joked I heard Berrynose meow my name impatiently. I flicked my tail in goodbye to Petalnose and headed out of camp.
When we arrived at the HighStones the moon was barely peaking over the horizon as the last rays of sun became swallowed up by the night sky. Sprawling out on my back I stared at the stars Harepaw; the newest apprentice of ShadowClan. "How stars do you think are out there?" He squeaked. "More than any cat can count that's for sure." I mewed softly back. "Come along you two it's nearly time." Honeyleaf mewed.
