I woke up late in the afternoon. Looking around I stepped outside and sighed with relief. The clan was moving about and there wasn't as much as the tail tip of the white cat. Shaking scraps of moss out of my fur I headed out of camp to get a drink of water. I slipped through the reed entrance and stepped into the forest. A warm comforting breeze slowly milled through the high up branches. I trotted over to the river and lapped at the cool refreshing water. But as I lifted my head I saw the white cat instead of my reflection. "No! Not another dream." I whimpered. But the cat only sat and stared. Then the sound of the wind changed. It sounded as if thousands of cats were whispering to me all at once. But then one voice rose over the others and all it said was "Moonstar" I looked away ran through the trees trying to escape the voice and the cat that refused to leave my mind. But it just kept saying Moonstar as if it were more important than StarClan themselves. But the noises only got worse. The whispers turned to shrieks and yowls. It sounded like war. Then all was silent. Even the breeze stopped blowing. And the voice sounded once again. "You are the last remaining moon. You must uncover the secrets for only then I can return to StarClan." Confused I stood there waiting for more. But that was all it said. And finally I decide I needed to take a trip to the MoonStone. By myself.
After the incident outside of camp I padded into the den to talk to Berrypelt. "Uh Berrypelt." I mewed quietly as she sorted herbs at the back of the den. "What do you need." She replied. Nervously I mewed. "Is it okay if I go looking for herbs?" Turning around Berrypelt gave me a confused look. "This late?" She mewed. I nodded. She thought for a moment the mewed. "Alright but be careful." Dipping my head in thank you I headed out of the den and out of camp. And once I new no cat could see or hear me I broke into a run. I sped through the trees only stopping when I came to the edge of WindClan territory. Slowly I peaked out of the trees. No cats in sight. I then moved onto the territory I made much progress through the grassy plains until a WindClan cat spotted me. "Hey!" He yowled and bound towards me. Taking a deep breath I stopped and sat down waiting for him to reach me. Once he did he stared at me with hostility. "Why are you on WindClan territory." He snarled. I took a good look at him and realized it was Mareclaw. "I apologize for traveling over your territory but my only purpose is to head to HighStones." I mewed confidently. Mareclaw looked at me suspiciously. "Very well. But I'll escort you. Just to be sure." He finally meowed. I dipped my head and padded behind him. When we had crossed WindClan territory I dipped my head with respect. "I appreciate you letting me through so I could get to the MoonStone." I mewed. Mareclaw only nodded and bounded off. I however turned to see the journey ahead of me.
