"What?!" I screeched at her completely taken aback by the statement. "How is the even possible?!" I began to shake again. "But Moonkit is more special then you think." Splashstar interrupted. I stopped and stared. "Moonkit is not related exactly." She began to explain. "What do you mean Splashstar?" I mewed suspiciously. "The white cat you keep seeing is Moonstar, the last leader of MoonClan." I gave Splashstar a confused look. "Well Moonkit is the reincarnation of Moonstar." She mewed gently. "How... where... Why?" I stuttered. "You mustn't tell her now." She warned. "And why not?" I mewed challengingly. "Because she may not be able to handle it. You will tell her on the day after her apprentice ceremony." Splashstar instructed. "That is in three days, please don't forget." With that everything melted away and I was in back in MotherMouth. I stood up and shook out my fur and stretched my stuff limbs. I sighed feeling a frustrated lump in my throat. I thought coming here was suppose to help, not make it worse. I thought to myself. But there was nothing I could do so I just headed out of the cave and the open world once more. I picked my way down to the grassy plain. And began my trek back.
After making it across WindClan territory again but this time unseen I padded through my territory and found a really soft patch of grass near the training field. And soon I was fast asleep. I did not dream that night. But I did feel something prodding my side and I drowsily opened my eyes. "Oh thank StarClan your okay!" I heard the unmistakable happy mew of my mother. "What do you mean of course I'm okay." I mewed puzzled at my mother's fret. "Wait.." She mewed then sniffed my fur. Oh no. I thought to myself. "Rosefur why do you smell like WindClan... where did you actually go last night." I hesitated. I was worried that Willowstar will think I'm crazy or just a naughty apprentice. "I think I know." I heard a rough mew come from behind Willowstar. I looked past her to see Berrypelt standing a few paw steps behind my mother. I felt my fur get hot. "Willowstar I know you were worried but can you leave me and Rosefur alone for a moment." She mewed very gently. Willowstar thought for a moment, then nodded. Looking back at me she headed toward her camp. Berrypelt waited until she was sure Willowstar was out of earshot. "Okay so I know your not the cat who'll just waltz into another clan's territory, so I'm gonna guess that you were at the MoonStone." She mewed. I nodded shamefully. "Why didn't you just tell you wanted to go to the MoonStone? You had me worried sick about you!" She meowed sternly to me. I looked at my paws. Berrypelt took a step forward and gave the top of my head a lick. "I know why." She mewed quietly. Surprised I looked up at her. "How do you know?" I asked. "I heard the prophecy a long time ago." She giggled "And your not mad for me not telling you?" I asked my voice cracking with fear of punishment. "Well I was a little hurt at first, but I got over, I mean Medicine Cat need to keep secrets from even their mentors sometimes right?" She purred. "Now let's head back to camp, the whole clan is worried about you, especially your father." She mewed turning around. And with that she trotted toward camp with me only two paw steps behind. When we got to the entrance I stopped nervous if every cat will mad are happy to see me. "Come on you don't want to keep them waiting any longer, do you?" She mewed. I took a deep breath and stepped through the reed entrance. Almost immediately I was bombarded with questions on where I had gone. But then I saw one light tan tabby Tom pushing his way to the front of the crowd. It was Gorseclaw. And Petalnose with Rainclaw slipped in behind him. They all sighed heavily and plunged toward me tackling me with licks of relief. When finally they let me up they led to Willowstar's den. I entered without asking to see Willowstar pacing at the back of her den. When she looked up she sat down and flicked her tail for us to join her in the back. When we were all settled, Petalnose stared at me with eyes as wide as to moons. "So are you gonna tell us where you've been?" She asked perkily. I looked at Willowstar and she nodded. And I began to explain. With only silence filling the den
