It was, nice, having Belle around. Which confused me. She was human, or was she? I'd noticed a few funny things. Her eyes sometimes flashed a different colour, there's this dark aura around her. And just how she holds her self, like Dan, but not jackassy. Along with her arrival, came someone else. A little voice in my head telling me all sorts of crazy. "Hey, hey Delsin. Guess what. I know where you're hiding~ You didn't have that swaggalicious mansion before, did you? Can I come over? I promise I won't kill anyone~" He was, I had no clue what he was. He was kinda like my twin. Not physically or genetically, more in the sense that we look similar. Except he doesn't have the scars.
I ignored him most of the time, but it is irritating. Belle was confusing. She was most definitely human, I thought. But there was also something else. She always had these bandages on her arms. I also had some of my own bandages, well, most of my body was covered in bandages. "Oohh, maybe she's an alien? Could be, could be. What do you think?" "No, now shut up." He was infuriating, and even worse when he was trying to kill us.
It was on one weirdly chilly day I got confirmation. And she wasn't and alien, just so you know. I was walking out of my room when something felt, off. And there were sounds coming from her room, and I could smell fire. I didn't really think before I leapt and ran in. She was on her knees crying black tears and burning herself. "Belle!! Stop! No!! What are you doing!?" I knocked the torch from her hand and hoped her bed wouldn't catch fire. "Try-trying to-to make up for-for all the people I've hurt." She was crying. Then I realized it. The way her eyes glimmered, she was a demon. A escapee like me. "Stop. Please. Don't hurt yourself."
She looked at me in the eyes and kept crying. "Why!? All I do is hurt others!" "You haven't hurt us." She cried even worse. "You think I don't see you wincing whenever I walk past! Whatever is causing it is because of me!" "No! That's, something else, someone else! It's not you're fault!" She tried to grab the torch but I knocked it farther away and put it out. She Pushed me away and shouted. "You don't know what it's like! All I do is hurt others!" I pulled her into a hug. "No you don't. All I've done is run from my fears and kill those who bring them up." She looked up at me. "I'm so alone." I looked into her eyes. "No you aren't. You have me."
"But why would you want me? I have all of this." She indicated to her scars and bandages. "I have my own." I took off my shirt and showed her mine. "You don't have to hide them." I unwound the bandages on her arms and looked at the scars. For some reason, I healed them. "H-how?" I took off the bandages on my shoulder and showed her the new marks. "I can take pain and keep it. You have so much. And you're so-so beautiful." She smiled through the tears. "For some reason, it doesn't hurt when I see you. You make me want to stay in control." "And you make me want to keep fighting." I leaned forward and kissed her.
