I woke up in a cave made of pure white reflective crystal. I tried to speak but a bark came out of my mouth. The crystal in front of me didn't show me, but instead showed a wolf with a pure white pelt and Orange eyes. "Whoa." I thought and it echoed across the cave. "So what I think is how I speak, strange." "Odd, isn't it. This dream." I turned around and saw a black wolf with one red eye and one grey eye. "who are you?" "Aaww~ You don't remember me, and I though we were such great freinds." His voice had a strange quality, echoey and kind of dog like. "No matter. You'll remember me soon. How's you're new freinds? I'd like to know."
I reacted with caution. "They're fine. Why do you want to know?" He ignored my question. "Oh really, even the little Belle?" I brislted, if he was threatening Belle there would be a problem. "Don't touch her." "Oh I won't, you just might want to keep a close eye on her, that's all." He smirked, or what looked like a smirk on a dogs face. "Dreams changing. Goodbye." He disappeared and I became my old self again. Instead of a cave I was in a hall way. "What, the hell?" I walked forward and everything shifted. In front of me was a forest and behind me there was gate made of obsidian. "You get a choice boy. Go forward, or go back." "What happens if I go into the forest?" The voice that boomed was deep and metallic. "Who knows. The forest is open and free. No rules to follow, no obligations."
"And if I go back into the city?" The new voice was soft and smooth. "You grow up. You follow the rules, and stay happy in them." Neither felt right. Without rules there was chaos. But those rules were too strict. "And what if I choose neither?" Both voices spoke at once. "Then you will never change. There can be rules or there can be freedom." "But what about freedom within the rules?" They sounded irritated. "NO! It's one or the other. Make you're choice!" "I choose neither!" A splitting pain went through my head and I fell to my knees. In the forest stood Dan and Belle. In the city there was Tasha and Max. But someone tapped my shoulder. "I tried to do the same thing. But the only in between is destruction. And you don't want to become like me, now do you?~" I looked up and saw a guy who looked lik me but had one grey eye and one red eye, just like the wolf.
"who are you?" He leaned close to me and whispered. "The gates been opened." With that the dream dissolved and I woke up alone. "just a dream. He's not coming back, he's dead." I got up out of bed and showered. I looked in the mirror and saw the two tattoos on my shoulders. One was a red crow and the other was a blue eagle. Angel and demon. On my chest there was a black and orange pheonix. That one confused me. I took of my bandages and checked my cuts. They were fine. I looked at my eyes and saw they had turned a bright orange. "What the hell is happening to me?"
