It hurt, and there was a crack across my vision. One side with corpses, one side with a dead hellhound. I couldn't decide. Then I heard the little girl scream. And my choice was made for me. I dashed forward and almost seemed to start flying. The hellhound yelped as I crashed into its side, burying the swords up to their hilts. It made a groaning sound as it died, and I smile. Then I saw my shadow.

It was different. For one thing, I had gotten wings. Real ones. Angels and demons don't start out with wings, we have to earn them. I guess we earned them, or I did. "What the hell, why do you have wings?" I smirked at Dan. "Because you don't get wings for being a coward." He looked mad and raised a fist. I flew up and smirked at him. Then Jen came over. "Woah. You look good in wings~" "Thanks. So, I'll help the girl." I floated down and looked at her. "You okay kid." She smiled and looked at her dad. "Daddy look, he's an angel!" I stood up and looked at him. "What, are you?!" I smiled a bit. "Like she said. I'm an angel." He looked at me. "Thank you." The little girl pulled on my pants. "I'm Alex, what's you're name mister angel?" I kneeled. "I'm Delsin." "Are you a knight mister Delsin?" "I guess you could say that, yes." She smiled even wider. "Who's you're king?" "That's what I'm looking for. You see, there are two city's fighting." "What are there names?" I thought. "Deamoan and Angeria. There fighting because they hate each other, for petty reasons. And they have a rule, they aren't allowed to love each other."

"Why not, why are they fighting?" I thought. "One of them don't like rules, while the other does. They can't love each other because who knows what would happen if you had a rule maker and breaker mixed." She seemed so interested. "And?" "So my mom and dad did love each other. And they had me. But because of the rule, they couldn't keep me. So I'm not allowed in either city. So I'm a knight with no king. But I can have a queen." She seemed so excited. "Who's you're queen?" "Well, I'm a now a knight of Alex." She smiled so wide that she looked a bit crazy. "So you're my knight?" "Yep." She grinned and said. "Then I command you to be a hero." I smiled. "You're wish is my command." I got up.

We had a hide out, a little abandoned mansion that we fixed up. "Let's go guys." I used the grid and we landed in the mansion garden, human included. "I'm not gonna get used to that, am I?" "Nope." We walked in and showed her around. "My rooms the one with the grey door. Dans is red and Tasha's is blue. Fate doesn't live here and the guest room is oak. Make yourself at home."
Dan and Tasha went up to their rooms. I was about to go to the kitchen when Belle pulled me back. "Uh, thanks. I smiled. "No prob." She smiled and went up to her room.

I noticed I was smiling and slapped myself. "What the hell are you thinking? She human." I shook my head and went up to bed. Belle was still waiting by the stairs. As I passed her hand brushed one of my wings and I yelped. Not in pain, but in, something else. "Sorry!" "It's okay. It felt, nice!" I blushed and ran up into my room and slammed the door. Blushing, I had a shower and went to bed.
