(August's POV )

Da next day, da girls took their flight back to da A while me and da fellas headed back on my tour bus.
I was satisfied wit' da trip, but I was ready to get home and catch up on some rest.
Ever since babygirl pulled some strings to get my EP released at da end of da summer, it was crunch time and I was doin nothin but stressin myself out over shit.
Instead'a nappin throughout da ride, I just stayed up and finished workin' on some songs.

We got back to ATL 'round 5 o'clock.
I stepped into my house, dropped my travel bag, and as soon as Toya heard da door close she came runnin' down da steps to greet me.

"Babyyyy! ", she squealed, as she threw her arms 'round my neck. "I missed you daddy."

She planted a kiss on my cheek and I politely pulled away to walk around her.

"Well damn! You ain't miss me? ", she asked, followin' behind me as I walked to da kitchen.

"I'm just tired right na'."

Once I got in da kitchen, I noticed how messy da shit was - as if nuffin was cleaned since I left.
Sink full'a dishes, food left out, garbage full, liquor bottles and mail just thrown on da counter.

"Why my kitchen lookin' crazy like dis? ", I asked, as I went to get a bottle'a water out da fridge.

"Oh, I haven't had time to straighten up.", she replied.

"You haven't had time to straighten up? ", I mocked wit' a screwed up face. "Toya, I was gone for da whole weekend. What was you in here doin'? "

"I was in and out. Friday I went to get my hair and nails done, Saturday me and my cousin went shopping then we came back here to chill and drink, and yesterday I just stayed in cuz it was raining.", she said.

"You did allat but couldn't clean up?! "

"August you told me to go out and keep myself occupied."

"I gave you some cash to hol' you down while I was gone, but you couldn't at least pick up a broom befo' a nigga got back?!", I spat. "Matter'a fact, Imma just leave it alone."

I shook my head and left her standin' there while I headed upstairs to get more settled in.
I got to my bedroom and it was da same fuckin' story.
Ever since she started stayin' wit' me, I gave her her own closet and drawer space for her clothes. It was no excuse why her shit was all over da place.
I decided to ignore da extra aggravation dat crept upon me and hopped my ass in da shower.
Once I got out, I lotioned down, put on some deodorant, threw on just my boxers, got in bed and turned da tv on.
I flicked through da channels but was still thinkin' bout how "non-wifey material" Toya was. I ain't sayin' dat I expected her to be my personal maid, but why would a person not wanna make sure where they rest their head is clean.
I know Melanie wanted her gone badly, and now I did, but I considered lettin' her stay here for da rest of da week 'til she found somewhere else to stay.
As tired as a nigga was and comin' home to bullshit, I couldn't even crash da way I planned to.
I went into my nightstand stash and rolled a blunt, hopin' da shit would help me relax and fall asleep.
I leaned against my headboard and smoked 'til a satisfying high reached me.
Just as I finished my last pulls, Toya walked into da room.
She got on da bed, layed on her side and looked up at me.

"Baby, you mad at me? ", she asked.

"Nah. I'm straight.", I responded, while keepin' my low eyes on da tv.

"I'll get up early tomorrow and do a lil cleaning."

"Don't even worry 'bout it Toya."
