It was late afternoon and I've been in bed all day watching episodes of Law and Order. I was trying my hardest to pretend that I wasn't bored, but to be laying here for hours watching episodes I've seen before and stuffing my face with junk food made it obvious. Deep into SVU, I ignored Jennifer's facetime call... until she called a second time, so I answered.

"Ugh, you look like a bed bug.", she said, the moment I answered.
"I'm watching SVU. You know how I feel about SVU. What do you want? ", I asked.
"Guess what came in the mail today? ", she asked while smiling.

I rolled my eyes, "I'm blocking you."
She laughed. "Whyyyyy? I'm gonna bring you half so we can try it together."
"My tummy is fine."
"Says the little Debbie with all those damn snacks on your nightstand!"
I chuckled and repositioned myself so she could no longer see the snacks in my background. "Nosey!"
"What you still doing in bed anyway? Are you okay? ", she asked.
"I told you I'm watching SVU. And yes, I'm fine."
"Hmm, okay. You're handling this breakup pretty well, that's all."
"It's only been five days... and about five minutes ago since he lastcalled me.", I said, with a small chuckle.
She made a sad face, "Aww. He misses you Mel'. Don't you miss him? "
"Of course. I said that before, but I already told you my reason behind this and I'm not changing my mind."
