Laura was woken up in the middle of the night from someone shaking her shoulder, hard. She jerked up and looked around. That's when she noticed her brother standing in front of her. "Dammit Brandon, what? I'm trying to sleep," Laura screamed in a whisper as she checked her phone, wincing from the bright light. "Its 2 in the morning!"
"I know Laura, but someone is on the phone for you," Brandon said, rubbing his eyes as he handed her their dad's house phone.
"Why are they calling at two in the morning?"
"I don't know. It woke me up."
"Hello?" Laura said, tiredly into the phone.
"Hey Laura. Remember me?"
"Remember who? It's two in the morning..."
"Its Mr. Russell. Your history teacher from 9th grade. Remember?"
"History teacher? My teacher's name was...."
"I didn't really teach long since you got me fired..."
Russell. Russell. Oh my god. "No..."
"I missed you."
"Leave me alone." Disgusting.
"That's not possible, darling. I will never go away." The phone went dead.
Laura threw the phone on the bed, her hands shaking as she looked up at Brandon. He looked at her with concern. "Laura? Who was that?"
"Call Jayce," was all Laura said before covering back up, falling back asleep.

Laura woke up 7 hours later, and she noticed her door has Jayce's jacket on the back of it. She sat up, then she felt an arm around her. She turned and smiled at the sight of him snoring next to her. She leaned down, kissed his cheek and walked out of the room.
Usually everyone didn't wake up until at least 10, but Laura was an early riser. At least most the time. She grabbed a bowl from the cupboard, and she started pouring a little bowl of frosted flakes. She went to grab the orange juice, but a familiar hand stopped her. "Let me get that," Jayce said, smiling.
"Jayce, you're probably half asleep still."
"Doesn't mean I can't help my girlfriend out. Come on, we can talk while you have breakfast."
"Are you going to eat?" Laura asked.
"After I find out something." He grabbed her hand and sat down with her at the dining room table. "Now, tell me. What phone call did you get this morning?"
Phone call? Laura thought back to this morning. Mr. Russell. "That bastard," she accidently said, out loud.
"What bastard? Don't tell me Tommy is still after you..."
Laura took a bite of her cereal. "No. Someone worse."
"Who was it?" Jayce asked, really concerned.
Laura swallowed. "My 9th grade history teacher. His name is Mr. Russell. I...I got him fired, and now he's pissed at me after all these years." She took a deep breath. "Okay a little over 3 years isn't that long, but you know what I mean."
"Wait, you got him fired?"
"I didn't tell on him on what he did to me, someone just walked in at the wrong moment."
"What he did to you? Laura. What did he do to you?" Jayce asked, leaning closer to her.
Laura bit her lip and ran her fingers through her hair. She tried really hard holding back the tears, but they streamed down her cheeks. "He...he sexually harassed me."
Jayce took a deep breath. "What happened the last time he did it?"
"He. He invited me into his classroom. He said he had something to give me. I just thought it was an extra homework assignment, but when I walked in..." Laura took a deep breath. "He grabbed me from behind and closed the door. He pushed me on his desk and started kissing on me...I'm just so thankful the principal walked in when he heard me screaming. My teacher almost took my pants off, and I wasn't strong enough to push him off..." Laura wiped her eyes and looked away, too ashamed to look at Jayce.
Jayce grabbed her hand and kissed her lightly. "I won't let that nasty bastard touch you. I promise."
Laura nodded and pushed herself in Jayce's arms. "I'm so scared Jayce. He said he'll never leave me alone. He's out to get me."
"Sh. It's okay." He held her hand as he tried his best to not storm out of the room. He was going to be angry, but storming out isn't what she needed right now. She wasn't going to leave her side, at least not leave her alone. If it's not one thing, it's another.

~~~~~~~~
It was a Monday that would've changed her life, and not for the good sake. She woke up thinking that this was just going to be a normal day, miserable and long. She walked into class, Mr. Russell's class. She didn't really care for his class, she really didn't. Didn't have anything to do with him for the most part. She just didn't like History; too boring. She sat down at her desk in the back, waiting for him to start teaching. He stood up, walking to the front of the class. Laura looked up to him staring at her, but not just a looking over the class stare. She shivered and looked back down at her desk while he started the class discussion.
Throughout the whole class, he would walk behind her, looking over her shoulder and reading her notes. All she could do is squirm in her seat and wait for him to walk away. "Please, go away," she whispered to herself so no one could hear her. She pleaded in her head that he would leave and stand behind someone else because she didn't like anyone near her, considering this person could produce sperm. Men. Pathetic creatures, she thought to herself. Eventually, the class period came to an end, so this was her change to rush out. If it was that easy.....
"Laura?" She whipped around to the sound of his voice. Mr. Russell, male in his early 30's, maybe late 20's, very attractive but Laura wanted nothing to do with him. Maybe if she grew up in a stable home, she would be comfortable and be googly- eyeing him, but this wasn't the case. She approached him with aching anxiety.
"Yes?" She couldn't even look at him. She just looked down at the floor, near his desk.
"Do I make you nervous?" he asked, approaching her.
She bit her lip. "No."
Then, he got close to her, pulling her closer. "Then, why won't you look at me?"
"What are you doing?"
That's when it happened. He picked her up and sat her on the desk, pressing his hand on her upper thigh, starting to kiss her. She tried pulling away, but he was too strong. She squirmed and went to her instincts; she screamed.
Soon enough, more like years, the principal rushed in. "What's going on----" He saw what has transpired. "Russell! My office! Now!"
That was the last time she had seen him. They had to have a sub for a long time before hiring someone else. Everyone asked where he went, but Laura never told. Rumors flew around the school, but no one knew it was her. She never told anyone. No one. I mean, who could she really trust? For some reason, this guilt weighed on her... She got him fired because he harassed her. Maybe she shouldn't have done anything. Maybe she should've let it happen. Maybe....
He was gone now. He was gone.....
