*7 months later*

Laura, now engaged and a little over 8 months pregnant, was sitting in her living room watching T.V. Jayce and her are still living with her parents since they didn't have enough money to move out yet. Jayce was working a full-time job since school was over for them. They graduated in June, so they could get in some serious hours. Laura planned on getting a job after the baby was born, when she was ready. She knew she was going to be home with the baby, and she didn't know if she could trust anyone else with her. Yes, her. Jayce and Laura were having a baby girl; they haven't agreed on a name yet but they still had a little more time. She wanted this baby to be perfect. Of course she will be perfect. Jayce is her father after all.
As she relaxed on the couch, she heard a knock on the door.
She looked at her belly and at the door. "You gotta be kidding me." Instead of getting up, she sighed and said, "Who is it?"
Then, she heard a familiar voice. "Miss Russell."
"Come on in."
The door pushed open, and the nurse who once protected her from her insane brother and was tense was now calm. She was wearing jeans and a pink tank top, her hair was down which reached down her back to her shoulder blades. She smiled and sat down. "How are you?"
"I'm good. Pregnant, but good," Laura replied, smiling while laying her hand on her stomach. "You look good. Never seen you this relaxed. Looks good on you."
"Thank you. After my brother left, I found the time to breathe. I don't have to deal with his constant nagging and calls, yadayada---"
"Pretty crazy, huh?"
She sighed. "He just wouldn't get out of my space. I felt like he wouldn't leave me alone."
"I can relate."
"Right. I'm sorry."
"Don't worry about it. I'm just glad I don't have to deal with him anymore. He was a freak, no offense."
Waving a hand, she said, "None taken. He was pretty crazy."
"Tell me about it. Well, I guess now we can both relax."
"How far along are you?" Miss. Russell asked, pointing to her stomach.
"Over 8 months."
"I'm so glad he didn't hurt you or this little one," she said, resting her hand on Laura's stomach. "I probably would've killed him."
"Me too," she said, smiling.
Laura sat up about to ask for drinks, but the baby had other things in mind. Once she sat up, her water broke. Laura was confused and looked down. By the look on Miss Russell's face, something was happening. Miss. Russell grabbed her, her eyes wide.
"Let's go."
"Why? I can clean it up---" Laura said, looking at the mess.
"Laura, no. We have to go," she said, moving her towards the door.
"What's going on?"
"Laura, you're going into labor."

Mrs. G was walking out of her house, about to go for a jog when she saw her brother, pull up. She slowly walked to the car as he got out.
"What's up?" Bruce said, shutting the door.
"About to run. What are you doing here?" she said, putting a hand on her hip. She was dressed in a tank top and leggings with her hair pulled back.
"I think we need to talk."
"About?" she asked, running her fingers through her ponytail.
"Us."
"What? What are you talking about?"
"Look, both our daughters are pregnant----"
"Don't remind me."
He laughed and sighed. "And, I think it's time we fixed this tension between us. It's not healthy."
"Bruce, there's no tension."
"Okay, then tell me you're not mad that I left you when I was 17."
She tensed up, clenching her fists. "See?"
"Okay, but we'll talk later. I came out her for a run, and you interrupted me." She started walking away.
"You can't put it off forever, Lauren."
She rolled her eyes and felt her phone vibrate, so she grabbed it and looked. "Oh my god."
"What?" he demanded, about to look over her shoulder.
"Your daughter's in labor."
"Dammit!" They ran to car, Mrs. G jumping in the passenger seat. They sped out of the driveway and down the road.

"Where's your girlfriend?" Jayce asked Carlos, handing him a pop.
"Up in her room. I don't know."
"How long has she been up there?" he asked, taking a sip.
"Twenty minutes probably."
Before anyone could say anything, Lilly was ending a call and was trying to move fast down the stairs. Her stomach was just as big as Laura's so she was struggling down the stairs. "Tell her I'm on my way."
Carlos looked up and jumped up. "Baby, what are you doing?"
"Trying to move."
"Here," he said, grabbing her hand. He helped her down the steps. "Why are you in such a hurry?"
Ignoring him, she spotted Jayce. "Jayce! What are you doing?"
"Sitting," he said, holding up his pop.
"Why aren't you with Laura?"
"I wanted to talk with Carlos."
"You have forever to do that! Your fiancee is having your child! And, you're just sitting here?"
Jayce jumped up. "What? She's not due for another 2 weeks."
"Jayce," she said, grabbing his arms. "She's having your baby. Now."

~~~~~~~~
Laura's parents, Jayce's parents, Brandon, Lilly, Carlos and Lilly's mom were in Laura's room as Laura was going through contractions. She was in pain, and the people surrounding her was making the situation worse.
A doctor walked in and said, "Which of you are in labor?"
They all, awkwardly, backed away from Laura. "Ah okay." He turned to the group. "I know this is exciting, but anyone here who isn't a husband or family, you have to step outside."
"We're all family."
Sighing, he said,"Anyone who aren't the parents or father."
Lilly, Carlos and Mrs. G stepped out while Jayce's parents said, "What about us?"
"You are?"
"Father's parents."
"You can stay for now, but when things get complicated, only the father can stay." The doctor turned to Laura, smiling. "Ready to have a baby?"
After they took Adabelle Rebecca Johnson from Laura and Jayce, Jayce's mother took him aside. "What?"
"I need to talk to you about Rebecca."
"Mom, she's been gone for 3 years---" He stopped. "I'm fine."
"Jayce, they found her."
"What?"
"They found her."
"Where? Why? How?"
"In a ditch outside of town. They thought she was dead---"
"Thought?"
"Well---" she was silent for a moment.
"Mom?"
"She's in a coma."
"Coma?"
"Yes. She's been in a coma for quite awhile now. I honestly don't know if she'll get any better."
Jayce ran his fingers through his hair, looking down at the floor. He took a deep breath and looked at his mother.
"Why did you tell me this the day my daughter is born? Why now?"
"I promised I would tell you asap."
He sighed. "Just keep me updated." He walked away, trying to calm down before seeing Laura. He whispered to himself, "Push the thoughts down. Laura needs you." After that, he walked in the room.
His mom sighed as she felt a presence behind her. "Are you ever going to tell him?" Jayce's father said.
"I don't know. I just don't know how to tell him."
"He has to know that that's his sister."
"I know he has to know. Just not today."
"Jenny----"
"He'll find out soon enough," she said, looking at Adabelle in the nursery. "Soon enough."
