Chapter 10-Really, Ross?

---Laura pov---

Here I am, getting all dressed up for a date. I think this is the first time I am actually making a real effort, I didn't really make an effort with Andrew because I didn't really care that much, but I decided to make an effort today. What shall I wear? I don't dress up much so I really have no idea, his favourite colour is red, which is also mine so should I wear something red? Or would make it look like I'm trying too hard? Hm. I open my wardrobe, I literally have no nice clothes, and I pick out a few options. 1) A red peplum with a white tube skirt 2) light blue skinnies, yellow vest and a red flowery blazer? Ugh. Just then I see that dress. The dress I bought 2 years ago when I first started liking Ross. I bought it so he might notice me but I never got around to wearing it, it is just a simple dress, but it is red and yellow, both me and ross' favourite colours, I know some shades of red and yellow don't go with each other but these two do. I decide to put it on, not like I'm going to wear it for Ross, no way. My dates name is Robbie. He is a really nice boy and I'm not using him. I'm never making that mistake again, I have known Robbie for ages and I have had a crush on him for ages. I know what you're thinking 'I thought you loved Ross' I still do. I just happen to like someone else as well. Robbie asked me out ages ago but I said no because I wanted Ross and only Ross, I had my heart made up on him. Then he asked me out again a few months later, I said no because I was with Andrew, then he asked me out a few days ago, and I don't really have any reason to say no so I agreed.

Me and Robbie get on so well, have a lot of banter so I'm really glad he asked me out, if anything we will be friends, but I'm hoping more, in the future, maybe?

I don't know, all I know is I need to get over ross and fast. He has a girlfriend now, I need to move on. I hear my doorbell ring, he's here? I'm not even ready! I haven't even decided what I'm wearing, how I'm having my hair or anything! I pull on my pyjama shorts and a vest and run down to the door and open it "hey Laura-a ah, um you look lovely" he says with teasingly with a wink, seriously? "Ha-ha funny, I'm not ready yet as you can see so if you just wait down h---""why can't I wait in your room? Honestly laura, you can't leave a guest on their own" he smirks; wow he is pretty hot if I don't say so myself "fine come on" I giggle. He follows me up to my room and plops on my bed "make yourself at home" I say sarcastically "I am, don't worry" he chuckles. Maybe I should ask him what I should wear, he might have a better idea than me "hey um, Robbie?" "Yeaaaaah laur?" "Um what do you think I should wear?" what am I doing? He is a boy, he isn't going to kn--- my thoughts about that were cut off by his response, and wow is he perfect? "Wear this, it is beautiful and will look amazing on you" awawawaw he is so cute! He pulled out a yellow flowy dress from my wardrobe, how didn't I see this before? It was quite short but it was quite a casual looking dress so it didn't look slutty or anything, Robbie stepped out of my room without me even telling him too "I will let you change" he had a really cute smile on right now. I slipped my pyjamas off and stepped into the dress. I pulled on a light blue denim jacket and put on white daps. I couldn't do much with my hair now so I just put it up into a messy high pony.

I open my bedroom door and walk downstairs with Robbie. "You look gorgeous laura" "th-thankyou" I smiled at him. "Walk or drive? I mean it's not that far" I ask him "I think we should drive, I reserved us a good table and I would rather be early than on time or late" "y-you reserved us a table" "of course I did, I wanted to make sure we wouldn't have to wait" he is so sweet oh my gosh "thank you, we will drive my car"

The car journey was pretty chill, we just talked and giggled about random things, this is actually going really well and I do not have to fake being happy, which makes a change. We park in the restaurant car park and hop out. Apparently this place is really nice, I hope so. As we were walking, he puts his warm hand around my shoulder, he is so gentle. We walk in to restaurant and it looks and smells amazing! The walls were a deep red and the seats had felt cushioning. We went to the front desk, and a waiter guided us to the table Robbie reserved for us, this is amazing. We sit down at our table "I will be back in 5 to get your orders, would you like your drinks now?" the waiter smiled warmly at us, Robbie looked over to be and asked if I wanted a drink now "coke please, no ice or lemon" I say to the waiter as he notes it down. "And for you sir?" wow he is so formal, this is weird, I have never been in such a fancy restaurant, ooh. "I will have the same" "okay, they will be here in a minute" the waiter strolls off to the counter to get our drinks. "Thank you for this Robbie, it's really nice" "that's okay laura, no problem" he smiles and kisses my temple lightly, he is the cutest, wow. I smile at him and look around, something catches my eye, is that, Ross? I see opposite us? No way, really shor? You had to come to the same restaurant? I know he did it on purpose, why did I have to tell him where we were going? Was I subconsciously hoping he would come? this is going to be an awkward night, for me anyway.

woah okay, so it has been a month..

my laptop hasnt been working so im really sorry, i would have just written this chapter on my phone and updated but it was already written on my laptop and i didnt want to change it:-((

my charger is still broke but i decided to try it and it has decided to work today, but i am getting a new computer soon so yay!

anyways i hope you liked this chapter.. lmao you probably didnt cos it was lauras date but ross is there now sooooo.. ;-)
