I had to fight today. I really didn't feel like it but I knew we needed the money. I had to feel relatively normal to fight so I took a few more pills. I left Naomi with Tommy so I could go train at the gym. I had been slacking a bit from the drugs.

I drove to the gym and hummed to myself. While I was driving I remembered a guy I dated when I was younger. This was before I figure myself out to be gay. He was a complete asshole. I lived with him for a while and my god that was a mistake. Him and his buddies would beat on me a lot. As much of a fighter I was, I couldn't take 4 guys that were bigger and stronger then me. I remember they would hit me so hard it hurt to move the next day. I don't even remember how I got away from him. I was real big on other drugs then. I stopped when I went to college but then I had to drop out because I couldn't pay for it.

I remember how defenseless I was and I felt weak. I grip the steering wheel tight and try to shake the thoughts. I made it to the gym and I started training. I trained for about 2 hours and the fight was in about an hour. I cleaned myself up and went to my car and drove to where I was supposed to fight. Sometimes I even had to fight guys but I could do it.

I make it there and I sit and wait till is my turn. This guy was tall and big but he didn't know what he was doing. He wasn't quick enough. There's where I had my advantage. I got in the ring. He lost the first two rounds and then beat the fuck out me the last round. Some people put bets on me on the first two rounds so I won about 300. That was barely enough.

My body hurt from that guy. He had alot more advantages then I did but I still tried my best. I got home and Tommy gave me somewhat of a concerned look. "What the fuck happened??" He asks, his voiced raised a bit. "Gotta make money somehow, right?" I say, my voice raspy. He didn't question any further. I go back to my room and take a few more pills then usual to ease the pain. I lay on the bed and wait for it to kick in.
