I made breakfast for myself this morning, Tommy was at the gym and Jade and Alex went out to work or to do something, wasn't too sure, all I know is I was in the house alone with a huge craving for French toast. I hummed softly, flipping the toast in the pan and rubbing my stomach gently, I felt great and horrible at the same time, I just wanted this baby out of me already.

Jade recovered perfectly, she's finally drug free, hasn't even drank a beer for the last few months, and we were all so proud of her. Her and Alex became more serious as well, there was something about Alex that brought out a happiness in Jade. There was a knock at the door and even though I was a little frightened, I answered it. There was a smiling Brendan, pulling me into his arms and kissing me on the cheek.

"You look ready to pop" he laughed

"Oh shut up!" I mumbled, taking the French toast off the stove and into the plate. "Everyone's out right now, it's just me sorry" I frowned a little.

"Why would you be sorry Naomi?" He laughed and sat next to me while I ate. I offered him so,e but he claimed to have already eaten. "How's Jade doin?" He asked, the last time he saw her was months ago, when we were hiding from Joe at pops.

"She's a lot healthier, Ronda helped pull some strings so she only got suspended for a bit, nothing major, she's right back at it now" I chuckled, taking a sip of peach juice, that I all of a sudden loved so much, "Tommy's at colts, he's been training harder every day Brendan, he's amazing."

"He treating you well darling?" He asked.

"Of course" I answered smiling at Brendan and rubbing my stomach.

"Good" he cleared his throat "I only asked because you know Tommy, sometimes he'll just shut people out for no reason..."

"Yeah, got my fair share of that one" I laughed "but, I'm carrying his child so everything... Well-"

"It's different" Brendan ended my sentence when I couldn't find the words "there's a different kind of bond there, you should see the way he looks at you when you're not looking, I ain't never seen anything like that from Tommy" I smiled, blushing profusely. Pop and Jade and Brendan kept telling me I've changed Tommy, he's better now, less angry but I wasn't sure. "So, you've decided on Leo then?"

"Tommy really liked it, Leo Thomas Conlon" I beamed. "My little boy" I never thought I would ever be having a baby in my life, let alone with Tommy, who when I first met I couldn't even hold a conversation with without arguing and calling each other names. The door swung open and in walked Tommy, exhausted.

"I ain't havin this today, i am too tired." He talked mostly to himself before noticing me and Brendan at the table. "Brother" he smiled warmly, embracing his brother in a one arm hug, they were closer than ever, "hi baby" he mumbled to me, kissing me softly and rubbing my tummy then moving off with Brendan somewhere to talk, brother stuff, I guess he was telling him what to expect as a father.

A few hours later, Jade and Alex stumbled in smiling and laughing. Jade was happy, genuinely happy and I was so proud of her, we could all just... Relax now, be a family, move on from that broken side of us. All of us just sat and watched movies all night, it was so beautiful, all of us laughing and interacting like nothing was ever wrong. I guess in the end, as long as we had each other, everything would be fine. As long as we had each other, we could survive.
