I wanted to tell him that's all I could fucking think about, but I knew if I did he'd just run away from it, become angry with me and Pete even though it wasn't my fault, that's just how Tommy worked. When they told me, I wondered if it was his, but we only had that one time, and we forgot about it as soon as it happened, it was a drunk night, and it was lovely but... It wasn't what we wanted, and it only made sense for it to belong to Pete, I mean... I really didn't know who was the father right now, I guess I'd have to wait but I was almost certain it was Petes.

Tommy woke up and looked at me from his pillow, his grumpy, tired eyes just examining my features, running his hands so gently and softly on the heat of my skin. I laid my face close to his, looking into the stormy blue eyes that seemed to be less angry just in this one moment. His hand touched my cheek, then pushed the stray hair behind my ear, not once removing his eye contact from me. Tommy was hard headed, he was a fucking asshole who didn't want to let anyone in, yet here I was, lying in his bed, kissing him, holding him, he was all mine even if it was only for a short amount of time. We weren't together, not yet, and I didn't know if we ever would be, but I could feel myself falling in love with him, and it was beautiful and terrifying at the same time. Maybe he'd find someone else, maybe he'd love another person later in his life, but right now, in this moment I was his, and he was mine.

"Mornin'" he grumbled finally, after staring at me for what felt like forever, his hand touched my waist and rubbed my stomach gently, comfortingly, little did he know that I was eating for two now. He looks at me, I guess he could see something in my eyes that I was hiding. "What's wrong...?" He lifted his head a little, looking at me.

"Nothing, nothing" I whispered, pulling him back down onto me "i'm just happy to be here with you" I smiled and he kissed me gently, getting up from his bed. I sat up, my long hair messy and falling over one shoulder, he stared at me and chuckled mostly to himself, and we went downstairs Together.

Jade hasn't been coming out of her room since that bullshit happened, she would once in a while but she was acting weird, and she wouldn't tell me or Tommy about it. I sighed, I didn't want her to get bad again, she knew I would always listen when she needed me. I felt nauseous again, and I ran to the washroom throwing up bile. Tommy came in, rubbing my back and holding my hair out of my face, giving me some water and helping me sit down.

"You alright?..."

"Yeah, just uh... I've always been like that, I throw up in the mornings sometimes" Tommy just stared at me, he knew something was up now, but didn't know what. I guess he shrugged if off, he was good at that, at forgetting, but he was also good at remembering pain and keeping it bottled up. Tommy made breakfast for the three of us as I stared out the front window, noticing a car that's been there all night. I detected movement inside and decided to go see.

Tommy noticed the car too, and stood a way from it as I decided to confront the asshole, if anything went sour, he would be right there.

I walked up to the black car, and the man stepped out. I swear I recognized him, but I didn't at the same time, no names came to mind at all, and I couldn't quite out my finger on it.

"Can I help you?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest, he smiled,  and I could see some trace of a sadistic psychopath within it, but maybe it was just the pregnancy hormones. He stayed silent, staring me down like I was questioning him on his own property "look, you gotta get off my property of I'm going to call the police"

"Oh but where's the fun in that?" He spoke, his voice laced with a darkness that i couldn't understand.

"I don't know who's property you think you're on, but there's two U.S. Marines living in this house, and WILL remove you if you do not do so yourself" I crossed my arms. He just looked at me and shook his head, then looked up at the house, at jades window... I wondered if there was a connection there, but quickly shook it out of my head as he got in his car and drove away.

When me and Tommy stepped inside, Jade came downstairs, straight towards me.

"Who were you talking to?" She asked, looking nervous I furrowed my eyebrows but explained it was just a creep. "What did he say, did he say he'd hurt you?" She was beginning to worry me...

"No... Why?" I asked, she froze for a second, hesitating before shaking her head.

"Just wondering" she let out a nervous chuckle, grabbing some food and sitting at the table with Tommy. But I wasn't stupid, and I would find out sooner or later whatever the fuck was going on.
