The week went by normally. The most ab-normal thing was going to detention every day. I'd allways been such a good and quiet student, detention every day for me was like if someone came up to you and said "I like to do stupid stuff and spend time on jail" . I saw it as something terrible that should be evaded.

My arms had started to get sore from book staking every afternoon on this endless library. Books filled with dust had made my nose almost permanently red from allergies.
The librarian was making us work like slaves, we even had to classify comics by alphabetical order.

She was still really mad because of what happened between me and Felix the other day...

I wasn't really talking to Felix that much and he wasn't talking to me either. We would stack books in an awkward silence across the second floor of the library.

"What about Alex?" You might ask.

Alex had just disappeared, I hadn't seen him a single day at detention sense Monday (the day that I hooked up with Felix) . Hell, I hadn't even seen him at school at all.

The librarian was apparently used to Alex clifford bailing. She would ask us where he is, we would shrugg and she would just lick the point of her pen and write something on a notebook whilst smiling. It's like she didn't even care if he came or not anymore.

So there I was. Stuck alone with Felix... Oh and a freshman named Thomas.

The librarian had sent Thomas along to make sure me and Felix didn't do anything "pg-13". He was "keeping an eye on us". Thomas was really short. Or maybe it's just that me and Alex are really tall due to our parents being Australian giants. Anyways.

Thomas constantly wore blue shirts. He seemed really scared by Felix. That's why I said "babysitting"; most of the time he didn't even dare look at us in the eyes. He thought Felix was a big bully and he was apparently suprised to the fact that I wasn't intimidated by Felix.

Every time that I scolded Felix for something; Thomas would look at me like: Wait?? Nerds are allowed to defend themselves from bullies?!.

The fact is that I will remind you Felix is a tall, soccer player, with biceps, whom is 99.9% fuckboy that acts mean to look cool.

Meanwhile I looked like a tall and defenseless girl. So every time I smacked Felix with a book after he made a stupid comment; Thomas would look at me like if I was a heroe and it warmed my heart.

It was finally friday and I stand next to Thomas. As he holds a tall tower of History books.

I know he's was struggling with it but when I offered to help he refused...boys.

I was carefully taking books from the tower he was holding and putting them on the shelf.

"Hey... Sam?" Thomas asks and looks around in nervousness. Obviously checking if Felix was anywhere. Thomas rarely talked when Felix was around. But he wasn't around at the moment.

"What's Up?" I ask as I colocate another book into the bookshelf.

"I was wondering if you would like to-" he begins to ask me but then theres a loud "AAH!" from behind Thomas; followed by a "BAAGH" as Thomas screams and he drops all the books to the floor.

Felix cracks up laughing. Apparently he thought it would be funny to scare Thomas and make him drop like 15 books. I glare at Felix "You are going to get us another week of detention" I scold.

"The first day you seemed to enjoy having detention with me so..." he says, trying to act all tough infront of the small freshmen.

I roll my eyes and shake my head.
