As we got into Nate's car; I completely fell inlove with it. It was an old American model, (like Alex's) but much cleaner and with soft red cushion seats on the inside. "Okay, this makes me feel like: I'm a rich 90's kid". "Thanks, it's a Trans Am. Gift from Dad" he says.

I looked out the window observing how lovely California looked when summer started to bloom. We where 4 weeks away from school ending. Before my life took such an interesting turn; all I'd desired was for high school to end. But now, I caught myself thinking about how empty the halls would feel without the tall, dark but smirking figure that was Alex. Alex was graduating the year that I'd started growing a bond with him. And there wasn't anything I could do about it.

"Did you talk with your Dad on Saturday Night?" I ask Nate. "Yeah, he cried, we hugged, I told him I forgave him as always, etc..." he rambles.

I scrunch my nose for a second and look at him. "You don't seem as upset with him as your brother" I observe.

"My little brother is a mess of emotions, I he needs more stability about things..."

"Says the brother whom kidnapped his girl out of school to take her to a college party"

Nate laughs and turns the steering wheel, this making the car on direction to the California Mall. He'd insisted on getting the tight black dress first.

"Alex Clifford has been involved in Monica's shananagins all his life...Sam. He has gotten in the most fucked up situations" he keeps going but I interrupt.

"OH MY GOD" I exclaim. "Wut?" he asks. As I rode shotgun, in a car, next to an attractive guy, I remembered. The day I got kidnapped by college guys, jumped in a lake and roamed around in my underwear. I'd been rescued by a cute college guy named Max. Who'd then gotten mad because he'd found out his girlfriend was cheating on him with Alex.

"One night me and Alex where getting a ride from this guy. The guy's girlfriend was in the car and Alex revealed to him that his girlfriend had cheated on him with him. He got really mad and asked us to leave...Monica was the girl in the car that night. She was the girl who cheated on her boyfriend with Alex!" I put it all together, remembering looking at her in the rearview mirror. Her ginger hair and small figure.

Nate scrunches up his face "She does that a lot. Dates other guys to piss my brother off and then he makes her cheat on them. I think they find it amusing on their sick loving way..." Nate says. "OH GOD" I say into my hands covering my escandaled expression.

"When she got kicked out of College Monica's parents wouldn't take her back in. Alex has now sense been using Dad's money and paying her an hotel room..." Nate informs me. "SO THAT NIGHT IN THE HOTEL, THAT'S WHAT THE RECEPTIONIST MEANT BY OTHER ROOM?!" I ask at plain air but knowing the answer was obviously yes.

"Wait..what night at what hotel?" Nate asks in jealousy. His expression hardens and he looks at me in loathe.
"Nothing happened and Nothing ever will, don't worry. It was the night after the club, I was drunk as shit and he didn't want to leave me home like that" I explain.

"Sam, my brother might treat you as a sister but he has big claws. Honestly don't stay alone with him because he will make something happen and I don't want that" he establishes and I nodd because it was to ensure my safety.

After a while we pull up on the parking lot of the California Mall and he looks over at me. "I'm more excited about this dress than what I should" he says. As if a reflex I answer jokingly "Wait until you see what's under it". He smiles, takes off his seatbelt and kisses me, his fingers going to the back of my head, under my hair, I feel him massaging me there as he kisses me. I didn't know if I was a good kisser but I didn't care, I was enjoying it enough. His lips where soft and basically chewable, not that I was going to chew on them. But he didn't bother doing so on mine as he always did his signature move and bit my under lip as if it was his own to do so.
