A/n: I edited this but the edited version won't update itself so it's crappy af.

Alex was speed walking at an annoyingly fast rate. Frankly, it looked as if he was peeing himself and on the lookout for a bathroom.

"Slow down, I can't run in heels" I complain. He exhales and turns, noticing for the first time the big amount of distance we had from eachother. I seriously couldn't go any faster or atleast as fast as him. I knew that he was looking for a clue in which part of the city we stood but he was freaking out.

"Sam we need to find him and for that I need to know where we are" he reminds me as if I wasn't taking this seriously.

"Look at you, taking control of the situation like a real macho" I joke raising my eyebrows.

He rolls his eyes and keeps walking.

I try and run a little behind him and the sound the iconic tap, tap, tap of running heels echoes through the empty alley.

"Can you not make that sound?" he asks after a while, as he tries to think. He's looking around corners and reading signs. We where lost in the downtown part of the city with no money nor communication.

Alex didn't want to ask for directions. When I asked why he pointed out how everyone around us looked drunk or nor in a good mood and that he didn't need for me to get kidnapped by strangers, again.

Which if he'd really been concerned about he wouldn't be walking so fast and leaving me behind.

We cross a street and go over to read some signs.

"Okay, I know where we are!" he points, reading the different names displayed on the sign.

"Shit, we need to take the subway or else we'll have to go through some dangerous shortcuts and risk not getting there in time..." he says disapointedly.

"Alex, you illegally car race... I think you can handle the risk of dangerous shortcuts." I point out.

"Exactly and I kinda owe people money and those people hang out in those shortcuts so..." he says. "And the balance of the world is restored..." I mutter. He furrows his eyebrows at me.

"You're the criminal, not me" I joke and he shakes his head.

He keeps reading the boards and I think:

"But we don't have money for the subway" I remind him. "We'll have to sneak in, I've done it before. No one uses the L.A subway. No witnesses" he says.

As he turns his back to go and cross the street, there are a lot of cars passing by and I get nervous. I have a huge fear of getting run-over.

The alley in which the taxi had left us in had an opening, which led to the direction signs and a big ass highway. Which meant that the slowest cars could go was 60mph.

Dozens of cars pass by full speed but Alex is about to make a run for it as soon as he gets a chance.

"Wait!" I grab his hand before he runs, he stops on his tracks and looks at our hands hesitantly. As he waits for me to confess my undying love or something I say:

"I can't run, I'm going to pee myself and then get run over if you leave me here" I plead and he lets go of my hand with an eye roll.

"Sam, we don't have time for this" he says. "Fine!. Then I'll stay here, borrow a cellphone and call Dean-" I begin and he cuts me off:
"Giddy up, cowboy" with that he grabs me and tosses my body over his shoulder, with no problem.

He runs and I let out a high pitched screech as he tosses himself into the highway and I hear all the cars honk at us and millions of white lights approaching us and passing by. I close my eyes.
