The days passed and the information about the party after Harry and I left was still kept a secret. Even though my thoughts were consumed with this hidden information I had to concentrate on another task...

Our first soccer game.

"Tulsa you better fight for that damn ball!" Delilah screamed as Eva and another freshman girl by the name of Patricia ran down the field with the precious soccer ball.

"Eva not head on!" Coach Mireya yelled. Eva gracefully halted near me. I hurriedly ran to her getting the ball away from her grasp.

Coach Mireya began to scream obscenities at the freshman. I speedily found Erin and gave her the ball and she made the game winning point. "Great job! Tulsa impeccable foot work" Delilah announced, running onto the field.

"Get some water really quick!" Coach Ana Hefley publicized watching us run off to our bags. "Hey Erin! Can I ask you something?" I asked as we walked over to our coral bags.

"Sure!" She smiled grabbing her water bottle. "What happened at the party?" I questioned quietly she stared at me emotionless. "Tass, this isn't the place." Erin whispered, walking away from me. I sighed putting my water bottle down and jogging back to the field.

"Now let's get back to it ladies!"

Practice was long and painful, the drills tested our speed and footwork. We ran until Coach Hefley was tired. Soccer season was obviously near. I was excited but also nervous, nervous that we wouldn't win state because of a simple error I made.

I  pulled into the occupied driveway, praying that dinner would be ready. I opened the door hearing my mother and father talk about one of his patients. The smell of dinner made me smile in happiness.

"Hi Tulsa! How was practice?" My father questioned walking into the kitchen. "It was good, very tiring." I sighed sitting down at the already set table. "Well good for you darling, dinner is ready." My mother smiled walking in with a large pot. "It's tomato soup with chicken and spinach and other vegetables." She answered.

"Savannah dinner is ready." My dad screamed putting the rest of the food on the table. Savannah ran down the stairs as she sat next to me. "Smells delicious." Savannah smiled handing me the large bowl, I could hardly hold it, damn I was sore.

"You okay Tulsa?" My mom questioned, "Yeah, just sore practice was exhausting today." I answered sliding the bowl over to my dad causing him to chuckle.

"You are exercising hard, I'm very proud of you." He smiled. We all ate dinner silently unusual for the Stewarts.

The family, mostly mom, decided we should watch some home videos but, after a half an hour of watching Erin and I pretend we were aliens I decided I didn't want to partake in the family event anymore.

"I am going up to my room. Goodnight I love you guys." I smiled quickly getting up so sore I could barely walk up the steep stairs.

"Goodnight Tulsa! We love you." They chorused as I shut my door. I laid in bed in discomfort hoping the pain would go away.

Practice makes perfect, right?
