"Get to stretchin' girls!" Coach Ana Hefley shouted as we all began to do our normal warmups. It was a beautiful evening to play soccer.
The crowd was already gathering, thirty minutes before the game began. "Jefferson's goalie is giving me the stink eye." Lana exclaimed as we both lightly jogged. "Oh she probably isn't!" I announced listening to Lana, who overthought way too much. "Whatever Oklahoma don't believe me." Lana shouted as we both stopped jogging and watched people walk inside.
"There's Cindy." Lana pointed to her beautiful girlfriend.
Cindy walked in with Lana's parents who absolutely adored her. It was the total opposite with Cindy's parents, they hated Lana and they hated the fact that their precious daughter was bisexual.
"You guys are relationship goals." I smiled making Lana blush. After a while I watched as my family walked in my mother, father and sister all wearing matching yellow soccer shirts. "Tulsa!" My mother screamed waving frantically and pointing at her large sign, I waved back happily.
They gracefully walked in revealing Harry behind them. He wore a loose fitting blue sweater and dark jeans. Harry then began to run his fingers through his shaggy brown hair. I gazed upon his beautiful face as he looked at me.
"Hi." I mouthed waving softly, Harry flashed his signature smile as he waved back. "Tulsa! Warm-up!" Coach Hefley shouted as she threw a ball towards me. I then began dribbling the ball back and forth but still thought of Harry who surprisingly came.
-
"You've got this." Coach Ana Hefley whispered to me as I ran onto the green field that felt like home. "Fuck yeah Tass! We start with the ball. We are going to murder them and then you and Harry are going-" "Erin! Shut up! Not now." I announced as we stood in the middle of the field.
"Go Erin and Tass!" I heard people scream making me look over at the fence Aubrey, Luke, Danielle, and Emily stood there smiling and frantically waving. I smiled and looked back at the referee waiting for him to blow his whistle.
The deafening whistle blew meaning the game had begun Erin quickly kicked the ball towards me as I dashed to the other side of the field Lana following after me. Suddenly, someone shoved me harshly causing me to lose my balance and the ball. "Hello?! That was unsportsmanlike conduct. " Coach Hefley screamed as I got back up.
The girl that had pushed me, kicked the ball into the goal. Nicole, our goalie lunged at the ball but, unfortunately she didn't catch the ball in time.
"Fuck." I mumbled running toward Erin. "I can't believe that bitch didn't get a yellow card." Erin exclaimed. "It's whatever." I sighed as the whistle blew again.
Lana harshly kicked it to Erin as I followed behind her. Erin then kicked it to Eva who then sped away. Eva passed it to me but, this time someone pulled me by my hair throwing me down making me lose the ball yet again. "Are you serious?! Where is a card ref?" Coach Ana Hefley shouted throwing her hat on the ground.
I got up chasing after the obnoxious girl, "Do you want some more bitch." She laughed dribbling passed me quickly. I ran towards her getting the ball away from her clutches. I sprinted toward their goalie and angrily kicked the ball into the goal.
And I scored. "Hell yeah Tass." Erin screamed as I sighed. "If that girl touches you again I swear I will punch her in her ugly rat face." Erin mumbled grabbing my shirt. "We have to be mature Erin! There are scouts here." I advised and she rolled her eyes.
"Wow you are being extremely chill tonight." She murmured and I nodded as Coach Hefley signaled us over.
"Tulsa! I am extremely proud of you for not punching that girl in the face." Coach Delilah stated and I laughed. "I don't know what her problem is." I exclaimed sitting down on the cold bench as Delilah handed me water.
