My alarm went off waking me up for another dreadful week of school. I gracefully ran to the bathroom taking a short shower. The cold water cascaded down my body making me think about what had happened at our sleepover.Erin had a lot of questions about the "cheating scandal" but, Emily knew practically nothing. The whole ordeal wasn't too shocking I knew what kind of relationship Aubrey and Luke had. Underneath all the lies and bullshit, there was just a chaotic boy and an obstinate girl.
But, I didn't want to be the person to tell Luke about his deceitful girlfriend. It was honestly shocking that Aubrey was the one who cheated, I always thought it would be Luke. Maybe he had been cheating just never got caught.
"Tulsa! Hurry up." Savannah screamed making me lose my train of thought. I groaned out in annoyance as I realized I had to be at the school soon. Quickly, I got out of the calming shower to get ready for hell or as the general public called it, school.
I was out the door in fifteen minutes. Surprisingly at the school on time! I parked next to Erin's grey jeep. My friends stood there laughing at Luke, he was the life of the party. I saw an unusual sight Mr. Styles jogging over to my car.
"Hi Harry" I smiled shutting my car door. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He repeated shaking his head and tightly shutting his eyes. "Mona wanted to go to the park. I told my ma- I told her I needed to go somewhere but, she didn't listen, she didn't listen to me." He sighed looking at me defeated.
"It's okay Harry! I'm not mad at you, I understand I have a little sister too." I cooed, he looked at me his emerald eyes taking my breath away. "But if you miss the next one I'm going to beat you up." I laughed.
"I don't want any trouble Tulsa..." He innocently stated slowly backing away from me. "I'm kidding Harry! I would never beat you up." I announced listening to the angry bell yell at everyone to get to class.
"You guys won, ri-right? Harry asked, as we walked through the overcrowded hallways. "Yes! We did, it was 4 to 3." I stated as my ears were filled with the normal gossip that ran around Carson High.
It would be unimaginable to go back to school on a Monday morning and not hear about who had sex with who. My name was never thrown into the pile of promiscuous girls at Carson. But, by the way the student body looked at me I knew that the weekly gossip was about me.
They gawked at me pointing and gasping as Harry and I walked to Mrs. Walters' class. "Is the baseball coach nice here?" Harry questioned. "Yes! He is very nice he's name is Mr. Thompson he teaches US history." I answered looking up at the lanky boy.
"Why?" I asked walking into the blue classroom. "I think I'm going to try out." Harry mentioned as he gracefully sat down. I imagined Harry wearing tight baseball pants with his shaggy hair covered with a blue cap running toward first base, Harry Styles is so good-looking.
"If you have any questions ask Luke! He plays baseball and he is really good at it." I smiled and Harry nodded gently as Mrs. Walters waltzed into her uninteresting room. "Grab your stuff we are going to the courtyard." The aging woman stated watching her students get up like she had instructed.
"It's a beautiful day to go outside and talk about descriptive adjectives and personal narratives." Mrs. Walters announced.
"It's always a nice day to talk about descriptive adjectives and personal narratives!" I mumbled into Harry's ear. "No it isn't..." He exclaimed shaking his head violently. "I'm being sarcastic Harry!" I giggled as he lifted his eyebrows and made an 'O' with his mouth.
Harry held the door open as I felt the autumn breeze. The blazing sun was covered up by the grey clouds, making the sky seem rather ominous, the weather was average for the city of Portland. The class began to crowd the few concrete tables and benches.
"Please Tulsa and Harry sit." Mrs. Walters stated we quickly sat down in the cold but, green grass. "Tulsa you are beautiful!" Mrs. Walters announced staring at me. "That is an adjective describing her appearance." She continued as she began to pace back and forth. Our teacher then began to pick on her numerous students using adjectives that described not only their appearance but, their personalities and so much more.
Gold and auburn leaves blew softly, dancing around the handsome and mysterious Harry Styles. He giggled quietly as one of the leaves tickled his nose. "Look at your partner and use an adjective to describe them." Mrs. Walters informed her students.
"Harry you are neat."
I mentally slapped myself as the odd adjective came out of my mouth. Out of all the adjectives I choose neat? Harry is beautiful, alluring, and wonderful and I choose to say he was neat!
"Tulsa you are lovely, you are lovely." He whispered staring into my eyes with his brilliant green ones. I giggled looking at the gorgeous person in front of me.
"Tulsa! Harry! Please stop flirting and get back to work."
The whole class laughed staring at Harry and I but, I didn't care I wasn't ashamed of having a crush on Harry, he was unique and....neat
