"Let's wish our girls' soccer team good luck as they take on the Bulldogs tomorrow evening! Go Lions." Mr. Phillips told the whole school. He then hung up ending his conversation. Mrs. Walters smiled looking at the class.

"Good luck tomorrow Tulsa!" She announced making the whole class wish me luck. "It is going to be a great game but, the Lions will be victorious like usual." Mrs. Walters continued.

The room was silenced as Mrs. Walters began to write on her large whiteboard. Her written words made everyones hearts' drop. "If you can't read it says redo! Your essays with your partners were awful, and I am putting it nicely." She whined.

Mrs. Walters began a fifteen minute lecture on how horrible our papers were. Apparently our essays could be written by a blindfolded second grader! Her insulting words made me anxious, I didn't even fully read our paper. I didn't even write our paper!

Nervously, I looked over at Harry who was biting his fingernails. He was probably just as anxious as I was. "Tulsa please pay attention and stop staring at Mr. Styles." Mrs. Walters sighed making the whole class look at me.

Harry glanced over at me, his cheeks were red probably hot with embarrassment. Thank you Mrs. Walters for publicly humiliating Harry and I! I looked at her in annoyance as she continued to blabber on.

After, her abusive lecture she handed back our papers. Mrs. Walters placed Harry and I's paper on the table. I was nervous to even see how grade but, I had to. Slowly I looked down realizing we got a good grade! Our paper got a perfect grade.

"How did we do?" Harry whispered, leaning in toward me. "We got an A+" I smiled causing a grin to form on Harry's face. Mrs. Walters walked around the class like a madwoman, watching her students work on their papers.

Harry motioned me over while our deranged teacher roomed the isles. I swiftly sat down next to Harry, he handed me a highlighter and pencil. "Mrs. Walters? Do Tulsa and I have to redo-redo our papers?" Harry asked. She grabbed our paper quickly, a surprised look.

"I would assume not! So please keep the talking down." Mrs. Walters sighed grabbing and keeping our paper. Harry and I giggled feeling like we had defeated the mighty beast known as Mrs. Walters.

"Thank you Harry! I owe you one." I whispered.

"That's what friends are for, right?"

His words amazed me, he considered me his friend? For weeks on end all I had been trying to do was to befriend him, and make him feel welcomed at this mediocre high school. I was glad he was my friend. Harry Styles was mysterious, weird and downright awkward but, that's what made him so charming and pleasant.

"Right. That's what friends are for." I smiled leaving my daydream of Mr. Styles.

"I have been reading soccer art-articles for a week now! I am so excited for the game to-tomorrow." He stuttered putting his grey hard copy of Les Misérables on the tables. "How long is that book?" I questioned, Harry skimmed through the hundreds of pages.

"1,504 pages." He smiled. "Holy shit, that's a huge book." I announced, my jaw dropping looking at the book. "One of the longest books in history!" Harry informed me, opening up to his page. "It's an amazing book, I would read it-it if I were you." He continued.

"Can I borrow it when you are finished?" I questioned and Harry nodded in acceptance. "Of course you can!" He smiled.

The morning bell rang interrupting Harry and I's conversation. "I'll see you at lunch." I announced, getting up from the small chair. "Actually I have a meeting with Mrs. Wallace so I'll see y-you late-later" He smiled walking out of the bright class room.

It made sense how Danielle knew about Harry having autism. Mrs. Wallace was Danielle's focus teacher, she could have easily seen Harry's files. Wow, it was a bit shocking she went to those extremes to find stuff out about Mr. Styles. Danielle was conniving, it was one of her most dangerous traits.

Mr. Oswald stood in front of the large class blabbering on, like usual. "If you like to stay after class, Mr. Watson I can tell you more about the universe." He announced, as the lunch bell rang. I sluggishly walked out of the uninteresting classroom.

"You're looking good." Erin giggled, nonchalantly grabbing my butt. "Please not in public." I whispered, I began to laugh at my strange words. We were weird Erin and I but, isn't that how all best friends acted?

The cafeteria was booming with laughter as Erin and I got into the short line. "Where is Michael?" I asked, looking around for Erin's younger cousin. "Sick, I think." She responded. Aubrey and Luke argued there way over to the lunch line.

"Don't fucking touch me." Aubrey demanded, slapping Luke's hand away. He moved his hand away looking as irritated as ever. We got back to the table seeing a crafty Danielle and a thoughtless Brad talking to each other.

"Hey guys!" Danielle smiled, watching all four of us sit down at 'our' table. "Hi Danielle!" Erin giggled unwrapping her usual hot dog. "So where's Harry?" Danielle questioned leaning in close to me. "He has a meeting." I replied, seeing Emily gracefully sit down next to Luke.

"Guys! Guess what happened in English today?" Danielle gossiped looking at all of us mysteriously. I already knew what the devious brunette was going to tell everyone, she was going to say how much I loved Harry and that I was gawking at Harry in English.

"What?" Emily questioned. Danielle had done it she had gotten the attention of everyone at the table.

"Tulsa wasn't paying attention to Mrs. Walters' class she was totally yearning over Mr. Styles! Our teacher had to call her out to even get her attention." She smirked, typical overdramatic Danielle.

Her words to the average person probably meant nothing but, to the group of seniors that sat near me, this was major!

"Tulsa! Honestly, do you like him? Honestly on our friendship." Aubrey urged. Everyone then began to look at me, this action made me want to curl up in a ball.

"Sort of..." I mumbled not wanting my groups of friends to know about my small crush on the strange boy. The table had hushed, everyone looked around waiting for answers and that quite frankly bothered me.

"Why?" Brad asked his face showing signs of pure disgust.

"Excuse me?" I rudely questioned. No one was going to make fun of Harry, he didn't deserve that. Shit, no one deserved to be ridiculed because they were different.

"Why? He is retarded! Why like a faggot like him when you could get anyone you wanted at this school." Brad taunted high-fiving Luke happily.

"First of all, Bradley. Harry isn't a retard and he isn't a faggot! And who fucking cares if he was? Harry is nice and fun to be around, unlike you and your friends." I snapped looking at him in disgust.

We all then ate in silence not daring to look at one another. Brad's words ran through my enraged mind all day. Why were people so cruel?

...

if this sucks I'm sorry....and who would you want to play Tulsa?
