〈30〉 FMA | Roy Mustang X Reader | Flowers

I'm rewatching FMAB, and just seeing this scene made me feel like i had to make it a one-shot xD
BC mustang is fabulous.
He's probably like my 3rd favorite character or something

Because Ed & Al mam.

This takes part right after Roy encounters that Armstrong messenger girl, well.. Actually right after Hawkeye finds out of Selim's true identity.

It was just like any normal day in central. Walking around, doing things as you were ordered to do.
After a sad long day at working in the Military, you walked to your apartment and threw on some Fancy clothes, wanting to treat yourself to some fancy dinner.

With just you.
It would be nice, I guess.

Throwing on an outfit that you proclaimed looked nice, You wandered outside, walking to your destination.

Walking along the street, you eventually passed by a phone booth, a man coming out of it and sighing, "I have no other options now.." He then looked to the side, seeing you walk by, "(L/N)!" He called out, running to where you were standing

"Oh, Colonel, it's nice to see you." You turned around seeing him

"It's nice to se you as well. Thanks for walking by this way, I kinda wanted to ask you something."

"And what is that?"

"Well I kinda got drunk and bought a cart-load of flowers..wanna take some off my hand?"

"Sure, I don't mind." You smiled, reaching into your bag to pull out your wallet, "How much do you want?"

"Oh no no no.. You don't have to pay me." He told you, his hand waving back and forth

"You sure?"

"Positive." He answered, grabbing you a couple of flowers, "here ya go."

"Thank you." You smiled, "Well, I've got to go, I've got a reservation at this fancy restaurant."

"You mean like your going with some guy or something?"

"No, just me, myself and I." You smiled, crossing your arms

"Well why don't I drive you there? And maybe eat dinner with you?"

You looked at him, a bit surprised of what he said, "You sure?"

"Yeah. It's not like I have anything better to do anyway." Roy chuckled softly

You sighed, "of course you'll think that.. Well, hurry up, let's go! I want my food.." You puffed your cheeks, pushing him into the drivers seat

"Ok! Ok, calm down."

You sat down in the passengers seat, "Thank you, really."

"It's no problem. I mean, I'd be spending a night with a hot girl." He smirked, starting up the car and driving to the restaurant

"Don't compliment me like that."

"Why not? Why can't I complement a girl that I like?" He looked at you with a 5 second puppy-dog face

"Was that a confession?"

"Maybe."

"Argh, we'll talk this over dinner." You pouted, looking out the window

"That hit the spot.." You smiled, patting your satisfied stomach as the two of you walked out of the restaurant, Roy walking along side you

"Hey-" You looked at Roy, "You never answered my question." You puffed your cheeks.

"What question?" He answered, trying to avoid what was going on

"You know what I'm talking about." You walked in front of him, looking into his dark eyes.

He looked at you, then smiled softly, leaning in and giving you a peck on the lips, then walking away, "Does that answer your question?"

"Yes- but hey! Don't just leave me here!!" You yelled at him, "Your my ride, idiot!"

"Yeah, yeah. I know." He smiled, the two of you walking into towards his car as he shoved you inside and towards the passengers seat.

The two of you drove back in silence, until he had to basically drop you off.

"Thanks for the ride." You smiled, looking over at him as you were about to open the car door.

He kissed you again, "Your welcome."

Your face turned bright red as you pulled away from him, "Don't kiss me in the car!!"

"Aww, why not?"

"It's too weird.." You sighed, getting out of the car, "Thanks for the ride, Roy."

"And you are welcome, (Y/N)."

And that all happened, because you agreed to take a simple flower.
