〈45〉Kid Icarus | Pit X Fem!Reader | Nightmares

Gah I feel bad for everything I write being a Fem!Reader ;^;

You woke up in the middle of the night with sweat dripping down your face and breathing heavily. You ran a hand through your now tangled hair,cursing to yourself because you had yet another nightmare.

I cant let anyone know about this..

Was the thing you thought to yourself as you looked around your dark gloomy room in the SSB4 dorm.

What causes these anyway? Im a warrior, stupid nightmares shouldn't be this scary!

You sighed, looking down at your shaking hand as you lied back down onto your bed, facing the ceiling as the monster in your nightmare flashed before your eyes yet again, just like every time you wake up after every nightmare.

And its useless to go back to sleep, because the same nightmare will play in your head again, over, and over, and over.

It ruins your reputation as a smasher, because you have little sleep, no concentration, and no battles won for the past week.

I need to see someone about this..

You thought to yourself as you stood up from your bed, wrapping the blanket around yourself as your legs moved by themselves to wherever they wanted to take you.

They took you to the room "K2"

KI2 standing for "Kid Icarus 2"

which basically the 2nd room of the small 3 line of kid icarus characters.

Here- lemme explain.
Each game has a letter or 2 to explain the game series the character is from.

For example, the Super Mario series.

It would be "SM" , and then a number. so "SM1" Would be Mario's dorm room. Then it continues from there.

Although with the Kid Icarus case, Pit aloud Lady Palutena to take the 1st room, because she was goddess & All.

Anyway, back to the story-

Pit's room..? But.. But why Pit..? I dont wanna bother him this late..

You sighed softly, your hand moving towards the handle as you opened the unlock door slowly so it wouldn't creak and make a noise.

"Mhhm..?" Pit muttered as he turned to look at who was at the door.

You saw him waking up, and quickly shut the door, making a "eep" noise in the process.

"Oh, (Y/N)?" He said in a tired voice, as he sat up, rubbing his eye as he looked over at the door, "Its 2 am, is there something wrong?"

You opened the door, and walked inside, "Sorry to bother you.." You said quietly as you walked inside, walking toward's Pit, "It's just that.." You began, looking off to the side

"Oh, you had a nightmare..? Ad its been happening for the past week, and you didnt want to address the problem.."

You nodded, "Yeah.. That's why i've been loosing battles lately, because i cant concentrate and im really tired. I really haven't slept at all this week.."

"How about i help you with your problem?" Pit asked you, a smile on his face as he scootched over on the bed, "C'mon, you can sleep with me tonight."

You blushed slightly, "Y- You sure that's ok? I dont want to accedentally kick you in my sleep or anything.."

"Its fine." Pit smiled brightly, patting the spot on the bed next to him, "C'mon, lay down. it wont hurt you."

"O- Ok.." You whispered as you walked over and lied down next to him, wrapping your blanket around the two of you.

Pit looked at you, a big fat smile on his face as he pulled you close you him, his arm going onto your wait, "I'll protect you from the nightmares, (Y/N)."

You rested your head up against his chest, "Thank you, Pit.." You whispered, as you fell asleep in the angel's arms.

"Anything for you, (Y/N)" He whispered, kissing the top of your head as he fell asleep.

And that night, You were finally able o sleep peacefully.
